I would stick with Collins to be honest.

But tie a short range, bungee rope around his waist, so that anytime he gets near to the edge of the penalty box, it propels him backwards and back onto his goal line again.
Reminds me of Wile e Coyote from Road Runner cartoon - wonder which 'Acme' inventions we could use to keep him close to his line?

Is it within the rules to have a shock collar on a player controlled from the bench?

We just need to support whoever gets the jersey on Saturday. The pressure on either Collins or Wilson will be massive. I think it’ll be Collins in goal, Ben hasn’t played a competitive match in over 6 months.

I've said Wilson should start but I won't be lambasting lampard if Collins starts. Maybe Wilson is injured. Maybe Wilson lets in every goal during training. Maybe lampard wants to go out playing his brand of football rather than no ball playing keeper and we still lose

Who knows ? It's a shit situation cos of dovin injury and no easy answers and no ideal solution it seens

Perhaps it depends who's side they are on in training. Poor old Wilson has Haji firing shots in past him every day and Collins looks better because he's facing Simms :)

From the latest CET report 'Their backup option Ben Wilson, however, has only recently recovered from a knee ligament injury and isn’t said to be 100% confident in it currently.'

So Collins is playing because Wilson isnt confident in his knee holding up after recovering from injury

I’m sure Collins will start this weekend. I think more importantly than anything, we need to keep the spirit of the players and what sort of message does it send by dropping him for an unfit Wilson or an untried Bell?.

We succeed as a team and we fail as a team

I'd imagine the other players would be delighted.
Don't think grafting your bollocks off for 90 minutes, most of it with ten men, only to lose because of yer another rush of blood to the head from Collins will do their spirit much good.

We were all angry on Saturday (watched my old man nearly have a heart attack over it).. but everyone has to move on, he has to have our full support

That's fans think. While I'm sure they were pissed, as was Lampard, they seem a tight knit group and will support each other. If they don't then they shouldn't be playing for Coventry City.
