Think Preston will be fighting for their lives and get a draw, so hopefully finish 5th

I was hoping someone would make the connection“Cards on the table”
With our top 6 deck I see what you have done there!

Surely you’d rather be in with chance.I would rather go out before Wembley than have a third year in a row of super high tension, high stakes defeat
In the scenario where you know you’re going to lose I’d rather lose at Bramall Lane than Wembley.Surely you’d rather be in with chance.
I just don’t get people saying they’d rather loose.
Play off defeat horrible, but that’s what it’s all about.
Yeah, that makes sense. Only thing I would say is that the last day nearly always throws in one or two completely unexpected results. What permutation are you betting on for 7th? Boro win?
Looking at both Bristol’s and ourselves own home form, it’s unlikely we both drop out. The bookies and data analytics still strongly favour things to stay as they are.
The Opta super computer reckons both games will be draws whilst Blackburn and Millwall lose.
I can see PNE drawing v Bristol because it more or less guarantees PNE stay up and Bristol make the playoffs. Both teams also draw a lot of games!
A bit of fun because I don’t usually gamble, but I put on the following accumulator this weekend:
Bristol v PNE - draw
Burnley v Millwall - home win
Cov v Boro* - home win
Derby v Stoke - draw
Portsmouth v Hull - draw
Sheff U v Blackburn - home win
WBA v Luton - away win
*I won’t bet on the Cov game!
Lose against Blackburn? If we end up playing them we’ll beat them comfortably. Home advantage counts for a lotwe will win, finish 5th, beat sunderland and play Blackburn in the play off final, and lose
Stop teasingI’m edging my bets and going with one of them![]()
Yeah, I think so too.Got a feeling its going to be a stupidly open game, the phrase is "shit or bust" for Middlesbrough. They will throw the kitchen sink at it and if we dont have Thomas and Milan in the side it will be squeaky bum time at the back. Hopefully nick it by the odd goal but they can't play for a draw.
Ultimate painWin Sat and Bristol drop points we finish 5th. We win against Sunderland but lose at Wembley to Sheffield Utd
Your counting gone awry again Ccfcisparks lol, we can only drop to 9thi think we finish 10th
thats the jokeYour counting gone awry again Ccfcisparks lol, we can only drop to 9th
Sorry, been a long morningthats the joke
If we miss out its a failure , robins left the club 7 points off the playoffs not 47 points and weve always had a good squad , plus the added fact we had a great run and got ourselves in the playoffs with 11 games to go on 53 points and some very favourable fixtures still remaining .. weve managed 13 points in 10 games since so if we miss out its our own fault .. no excuses
Robins was finished here. We’ve been the 4th best performing club and it’s subjective if it’s a good squad. I think it’s average at this level and we have made a lot of poor signings.
For the hindsight brigade to have their sayWhy does the poll shut the day after the game?
Bristol’s away form is also pretty shocking. What permutation are you betting on for 7th? Boro win?

I’d still see it as a season of progress. If we miss out its a failure , robins left the club 7 points off the playoffs not 47 points and weve always had a good squad , plus the added fact we had a great run and got ourselves in the playoffs with 11 games to go on 53 points and some very favourable fixtures still remaining .. weve managed 13 points in 10 games since so if we miss out its our own fault .. no excuses

We’ve improved our league position compared to the previous season and with a few astute signings we should be able to give it a proper go next season. In what way ? We will have finished on pretty much the same points as last year but without the great cup run and a better squad
We need to make the playoffs

No one would have had us in this position when Lampard came in. Most had written off the squad, easy to dig out the posts... its undeniable he's done a good job. His one true mistake may be sticking with Collins but the alternative is hardly great.I’d still see it as a season of progress.

Consistently being in the playoffs from the start of the season and actually looking like going up. If we play Sheff Utd in the semis we’ve got no chance of going up this season.A proper go as in autos?
Because I just don't see that happening, under Lampard or anyone else for that matter.
Progress next season would be being in the top 6 for most of it a nailing a spot a few games before the end I suppose. That's my thinking anyway.A proper go as in autos?
