Just forced myself to watch the whole lot again. I’m going to be honest I always thought people who complained about conspiracy with VAR were nut jobs but you can’t see what happened yesterday and not ask questions. I forgot that they tried to focus in on an imaginary potential handball from Bobby Thomas not long before. Were they just looking for anything?

nothing will change it now but it’s just absolutely sickening and worse than the playoff final - however hard it was to take against Luton it was at least “fair”. With this, we won that game in my opinion and it was taken from us

will take a while to shake this off and I think robins will have some big opportunities in the summer

anyone who’s got some positives/optimism please share to talk me off the ledge!

also? Can someone tell me what they are seeing in this frame below? How can they make that call when the blue line is over WB’s foot, isn’t that supposed to be the line that’s ok/onside?

also look at Calumn o hares foot he’s got about 3 legs the frames so fucked up.

Like I said in other thread, the resolution is not there to make such a close call so the rules need tweaking to account for that.

i am devastated. Didn’t sleep all night. We were robbed and it’s heartbreaking.

Proud yes, but this will take a while to get over

Never been more proud of my football team and our fans. Excited for the future.
We will have made more neutrals follow us from afar.
Great to see the entitled supporters of an elite club leave before the end of the game then completely empty before half dozen sky blues left the stadium.
First time var has negatively impacted on us. I want it gone just as I did when it benefited us v Luton.

Anybody else feeling worse now than they did at the time yesterday? Feel like it is sinking in now. Don't even know if I can watch the highlights back.

Comments from supporters of almost all 92 clubs, from all 4 corners of the planet about how good we were, how fantastic our fans were and how we were robbed by a decision that is basically there to ensure the big clubs benefit.
The FA cup has been downgraded in recent years. The " magic" of the cup has dwindled to some extent as the big clubs tell the rest of us their European self indulgence is more important.
Coventry City , almost single handedly, aided and abetted by Maidstone, have put the magic back into the FA cup.

Immensely proud! The FA Cup has been devalued massively in recent years, mostly by bigger clubs. The ‘magic’ was starting to wear off. Not to mention just last week the decision to scrap replays.

If you get a chance listen to the match from 70 minutes onwards on 5 Live BBC sounds. Listen to that commentary, not least when Torp ‘scored’, or the quotes of ‘I can’t believe this…I can’t believe what we’re seeing’ It sends shivers down my spine.

I usually hate and miss watching the highlights when we lose, last night I could not wait to see them.

Yesterday, the magic of the cup returned. What would have previously been thought impossible became tangible. All thanks to those players

I know how you're feeling, so here's a list of why it's alright:

We beat them. A side put together at enormous expense that most of the media had already decided were through before a ball had been kicked.
We own a team that beat two top-half PL sides and looked good value in both, we didn't fluke either.
Our fans outsang and outclassed one of the biggest clubs in world football. They've got their reasons for being unhappy i'm sure but we've been through worse and reacted better.
Next season (and the next, and the next) we get to follow this club again (and for the remainder of this, however far it goes).
We all know what we felt when that 4th goal went in, whatever VAR might say we felt it and that will never leave us.
We are maybe 2 or 3 good signings from having a side that wins promotion and we are going into a summer where we can make them.

I might go and have a cry now.
