He said it on the BBC news yesterday morning - Terrorism Act suspected

Got out of bed the wrong way this morning scoop?
He was wrong and you were fooled - makes you both look silly. Not too late to just edit your post if you want.

Why would I edit a post - I think Frank will survive looking silly as well Scoop

At the end of the day you couldn’t even wait a couple of hours for the facts to become apparent, before racing on here to suggest there’d been an anti-Jewish terror attack. Now that it turned out to be nothing of the sort you’re putting all the blame on some other journalist. It’s all a bit pathetic really.

I’m afraid I owe Frank Gardner an apology - watching the video of what he actually said yesterday (via this completely deranged Twitter account), his exact words were: “It looks - but it’s not confirmed - but it looks similar to previous terrorist attacks”

So he didn’t actually report it was a suspected terror attack (which of course, it wasn’t) - that was just Grendel. I regret the error.

Raging is a bit strong, isn’t it. Go and watch it again - he didn’t say it at all, did he?

I get it, journalism is hard - you heard someone say something that got your jihadi senses tingling and you rushed on here to post it without checking if you heard it wrong. You haven’t run with something this fast since you were front of the queue for the Wetherspoons buffet.

Run with something? It was a major news item - I was very surprised no one else had mentioned it

Jahadi senses? Bit weird. Didn’t say anything about who it may have been did I?

I have no idea about buffets in Wetherspoons - I certainly wouldn’t be wasting my time eating in there.

Do they even do a buffet? Have you made a review of one in the Basildon? What ratings did you give it?

No of course you didn’t. Didn’t stop a couple of others from joining the dots though.

So you were using journalistic licence to make that conclusion

If he did, it's poor journalism to answer a question to which everyone already knows the answer. The Pizza Hut lunchtime special will always be the best.

Steamed straight out without waiting for facts and insinuated it was a Muslim attack against Jewish people.

Did a Grendel, basically.

Oh dear - lies and smears from the inbred farmer

She doubled down on it in the second one and said she didn't say it was a muslim but it's what an islamic attack is like. Vile woman.

As a muslim who coincidentally has not committed any terrorist attacks (what’d you know) it baffles me that people still look at Islam as a religion of terror and rush to put the blame on it for any mass acts of violence. Really backwards thinking. There are bad apples in all religions, ideologies, etc.

It’s 2024 guys, let’s put these backwards ideologies aside

Police say it’s now “obvious” the attacker was targeting women. Where are the community leaders?
