I was the fatty on the stairs but you'll still go down you blue nose wankers

Tavares 7, Simms 6, MVE 6, all others 4s and 5s. At what point do we realise Wilson isn't actually too bad?
MVE 6? Hmmmm-very generous indeed.

I felt sorry for Bidwell he had two players to try and cover all the time. Wright was truly awful today which I'm hoping is a one off. Torp well off the pace. Sheaf one of the worst games I have seen for a while. MVE shocking going forward but solidified is at the back. Kitchens fairly meh. Lats was pretty shocking. Simms had a go. Palmer nothing doing.

I haven't got the heart to watch the highlights. Can someone please tell me what Collins was at fault for with the second goal.

Have to say I’m fuming about that spineless showing yesterday. We failed to compete and that is unacceptable. I’ll excuse Simms for criticism though. He ran hard and showed why we all knew he’d come good-because he really wants it.

Torp absolutely shite. Completely anonymous since joining. Couldn’t fight the tide in the bath nevermind win a midfield battle.

Haji Wright showing his true colours again, just an expensive Stern John. Lazy as fuck and no movement or any work off the ball. His few goals and silly song have papered over a lot of cracks for our fans.

When’s our master of recruitment going to be dragged out of his office and made to pay for the money he’s wasted?

Sorry to disappoint, but I’m not a schoolchild.

Very pissed off by what I saw yesterday. Everything fell to pieces and no work whatsoever off the ball. That was an insult to the fans.
I don’t disagree with that but isolating 2 players when the whole team played equally poorly seems a little odd.

The whole team was shocking. What’s odd about highlighting two of the biggest disappointments since their arrival. They put fuck all effort in. Work rate is a non-negotiable.

In the same way that Wilson never truely claimed the number 1 spot even with all the clean sheets, I don’t think Wright will ever be the man up top. He’s lazy and ineffective, a complete downgrade on Gyokeres. We’ve had to stick him out wide because of how ineffective he’s been at running the lines.

Think the criticism of Torp is for more than just yesterday. Lots and lots of work to do in the summer for him.

If its true Wright is carrying an injury then he needs to be given some leeway.

For me, that's on the manager, we shouldn't be playing players in that scenario no matter how thin the squad is.
And anyone would be a downgrade on Gyokeres, he's going to be one of the most sought after players in Europe in the summer.

I was pissed off with all of the players yesterday, but I thought Torp really blew a chance to show what he could do, he looked way off the pace and too light weight for the championship.

Wright is carrying a knock.

He's not lazy. And Torp has played quite well in one or two games. I recall many praising him on here and saying that he's going to be a good player for us.

He hasn't done well of late, mind.

Torp been good for one or two games, well if that’s the marker of how well we spent £2M then that’s saying a lot. He’s an absolute nothing in midfield. The ball boys have more impact on the game than him.

Ah the carrying a knock. How far does that go back? Wright’s been lazy all season and he’s not good enough on the ball to justify being so static and lethargic off it. It’s impossible to underestimate Haji Wright. Hopefully we can claw some money back on him in the summer and move on.

Torp has come from foreign football. You have to give him time, surely. You really ready to write him off so easily?

Wright has shown what he is capable of and is definitely a threat.

No way I would be selling him in the summer, unless it's for a big profit

TBH after performances like yesterday why should we have patience? There’s no time for sentiment, look what’s happened with McFadzean, Wilson etc.

Torp is 25 in the summer. He’s not one for the future or come to go out on loan. He’s come and put in some vanilla performances and shown very little impact on any game. If i was Doug King, I’d be throttling the head of recruitment we got from Non-League.

Nobody with a brain will pay you more than £8M for Haji shite shite Wright. Take £4M and get a proper centre forward in.

Sorry, can't agree with any of that at all.

Reactionary tosh as far as I am concerned.

Torp was excellent a month or so ago.

Anyone would have struggled in that midfield yesterday. Birmingham was chasing us like men possessed.

Hopefully he will of learnt a lot from yesterday's debacle.

He was lightweight and way off the pace, it's one thing to have a great range of passing, but first you have to earn the right to play.

It was a brutal introduction to the pace and physicality of the championship. He now knows what is needed to compete at this level.

(He wasn't the only one who was utter shite though)

He can’t adapt more quickly if he keeps making cameos off the bench before suddenly being thrown in to start. With the season chucked away I’d start experimenting with him further up the pitch

Has Torp actually had a good game for us? Or did he just score a worldie early on?
He looks like the type of player who shines when we are playing well and dominating possession, but goes AWOL as soon as there's any pressure.

Kelly would of been a better option yesterday.

Would not be surprised of MR giving Kelly his swansong moment at Wembley 😊

Kelly has more of a chance of playing than Torp that's for sure.
Be nice to see Kelly come on for Eccles in the 89th minute (with City winning of course)

Other than a goal, Torp has been a complete passenger since he arrived. There’s been games where you only notice he’s on the pitch when he’s being substituted off.

There’s middle aged, divorced dads on 20 L&B a day in the stands that would offer more energy and effort leading the line than Haji Shite Wright.

I'm quite prepared to give Torp time and see how it pans out once he's had a full pre season.
What I would say is if one of your most consistent midfielder performers needs a breather we should have a better option to replace them than Torp at his current level.

That's down to having too thin a squad as far as I'm concerned.

If you look back through the match threads, there were many posters saying Torp looked the business in some games. Posters saying he looks like he will be a good player.

You have to give him a chance and not judge him until next season.

Let the management team work with him and see how he develops.

Just going to ignore your comments on Wright, because they are just ridiculous.
