because it came off Adams hand, and if the ref saw that it would be disallowed - so pretending it didnt touch him

So pissed off more hasn’t been made of the blatant handball by Adams for BOTH goals, are we just supposed to ignore these things nowadays? Added to the really dodgy penalty awards this week makes you think that reffing standards are being lowered year on year, meaning more shit refs coming through the system.

Fuck me. Even one of the players says "Che's hand".

Every week, we seem to be getting an absolute jobber. How is not apparent to any assessors or observers from the EFL that those officiating (for the most part) are basically doing it very poorly?!

Maybe it’s too much paperwork.

Standards have got worse. There's no denying it. The Pen for baggies yesterday. Heads have to roll surely.

Linespersons are getting worse too. Just don't have it in them to make a decision.

It doesn't excuse the fucking shit performance or the first half though does it

No, but at the same time but for two handball goals we could have been level at half time, it could be argued we would have been 1-0 up. Again, it could be argued that despite the fucking shit performance, without the two handball goals we could Have won 1-0 thanks to Bidwell’s goal.

You could, then look at our first goal against Leeds the ball wasn’t anywhere near the quadrant when Eccles took the corner. For me, I would still prefer a ref to make a mistake rather than go through Simms goal at Wolverhampton where we had to wait for 5 minutes for a decision.

MR doesn’t often comment publicly about referees’ performances but he must be aware of the poor standards and some of the decisions made against the team. Is he able, officially, to comment and what is the likelihood of him speaking to the officials before the game to make his point (about, for example, treatment given to his players (Sakamoto, Simms etc))?

Told you we would create problems for the FA and EFL if we get to the Cup final and playoffs. Last two games booking in the first two minutes to blunt our challenge!!!!....

Are you saying it was outside the limits?

In fairness I can understand Robins not making a fuss because

A. You get in trouble got it: and

B. We didn't play well and shouldn't make excuses for the defeat

I'm not entirely sure the ref had a clear view of the first goal, it looks was though at least 3 players players are blocking his view.

Not a great decision, but neither was the penalty decision.

We were crap and didn't deserve anything from the game. We move on.

Both goals should have been disallowed by letter of the law, and would have been with VAR. We didn't deserve anything out of the game though.

Th linesman was dead in line and should have been intent on Adams and his positioning. However, I do tend to forget that they don’t actually do anything other than raise their flag after the ref has indicated who the throw in has been awarded to.

Had the letter of the law been applied, our appalling display would have resulted in a 1-0 win away to one of the best sides in the league.

Not one for conspiracies but Kitching’s yellow at Hudds was baffling to say the least.

This drives me insane! Watching them wait for the ref to give a signal for a throw in before copying it with their flag might be the most pathetic thing you can witness on a football pitch. Might as well go Sunday League and have someone from each bench run the line. At least we'd get some LOLs!

the rules state 'the curvature of the ball has to be over the edge of the quadrant', doesn't have to be inside/on the line anymore.
Well aware of what the rules say. But unless we changed the ball to an egg it’s well outside the quadrant.
