Gotta be some kind of spanner not to be on yet though, should have an IQ test for the remaining tickets

People don't use 'Spanner' as an insult enough...

Not sold out though is it?

Clubs stated it wont make general sale

What they going to do with the remaining 1500/2 k?
I still think there is/will be an issue with people wanting tickets, but just not being able to access them. (Lack of account/purchase history etc).

They've already had the ballot so I'd assume it's sold out. 3 of my mates are United STHs but none of them got a ticket.

It's a delightfully 1970s term of "affection"!! There was a kid in the year above me at primary school whose nickname was Spanner. He is now a very successful racehorse trainer!
His sister (in my year) was also called Spanner by association!!!

Because only 48% of their season ticket holders have a manchester postcode. And if you followed coventry away to united in the 90's the united coaches were passing you from the south as soon as you got on the M6.
Cool but as I used to live in Manchester i an safely tell you that most people you meet there are United fans.

I have lived in and around Manchester for years and can confidently say that more locals you meet support United than City, especially from Salford and Manchester itself. The outlying place I live in now is probably marginally more City than United but it's not even Greater Manchester.

They probably are but a massive proportion of people that attend games do not come from Manchester thats why people say what they do an rightly so. I cant stand them to be honest.

When I lived in Fallowfield you could almost see Maine Road but there were still more United than City.

Mos City fans you would meet come from places like Stockport.

I think your Moss side / Hulme etc - always traditionally City back in the 80s (lived there and worked in a pub there) Not so sure if the younger generations switched to glory hunting

Indeed a coach used to depart from Kenilworth every home game. Not sure if it still does, but at least we now have several buses leaving The Engine for every Coventry game.
