I'll be renewing but I know long term ST holders who are considering not bothering.

A lot will hinge on the new TV schedules.

7 (I think that's correct)
so roughly a third of fixtures….

it’s a pain in the arse when you’ve got to travel, and park and get out of the car park, and then negotiate closed roads and traffic systems and don’t get home until gone midnight on a school night - once or twice is ok but when a large proportion of fixtures are week nights it becomes no fun

having said all that, probably still renewing 😂

Way we see it is yes it’s a steep price, but…this is the best state the club’s been in since the turn of the century and our seats are perfect for the Mrs to see everything.

Some chance of getting that free PL season ticket too!

Please don't increase Doug.

I think the PO Final caught everyone's imagination, coupled with the Prem Package.
I think if we miss out this season, we'll see a stagnation in numbers if not a slight drop. Depends on pricing and the Family Zone numbers I think.

I disagree. I think the FA Cup run will fuel sales the same way that the PO final last year did.

I think the cheap JSB prices will definitely go. Will still need to cater to our future support base though, so will be interesting to what level increases are made in that area.

I’ll be renewing… we all deserve what’s happening right now and at just over £20 a game it’s been good value. 👍

I know a few not renewing, personal reasons more than anything, but you'll always get that.

A small increase would be ok, but I have to buy 4 so hope it is reasonable.

I'd like to see match day prices looked at though. Up until the last two games, there have only been around 5.5K tickets available on match by match basis, and we'd only shifted them all 3 times all season. That's probably a lot to do with all the midweek games though.

The problem with such a big difference between match day and pro-rata st ticket prices is that you only have to attend about 11-12 games all season for it to make sense. We've seen the impact this has had with loads of empty seats even for 'sell out' games like yesterday.

Only way I’m renewing is if we go up. 7 Saturday 3pm kick offs all season has ruined it, the odd mid week game is fair enough, quite enjoy it under the lights etc , but the scheduling has ruined it for me. Not the clubs fault I know. But the football on a Saturday is part of the weekend routine for me, I’ve got enough going on in the week.

Renewing - I was happy to when we couldn't watch us at St Andrews during Cov-id, so am more than happy now that we've got a great match day experience (if you get days like Leicester, Leeds, Wolves, Birmingham etc, then it is well worth it. Plus it avoids the scramble for the popular away game tickets. I don't mind if I have to miss a couple of home games due to holiday/family commitments (missing Hull for my Silver Wedding Anniversary). I go to the large majority of games, a chunk of away games, and love following the team - enjoying watching us 'on the up'.

Well we should get an idea of when the new schedules are and apparently specific games will be announced with more notice than they are now
Have you got a link to that CVD?

Just interested from my business point of view. The TV companies release TV games in blocks of 4-6 weeks so they can see whose playing well, scoring goals, likely to give subscribers value for money etc.

It's a pain on the backside trying to sort hotels for teams as hotels chase you for updates but teams can't always confirm due to the likelihood of games moving for TV coverage.

I'd be surprised if they were announced with more notice to be honest.

I think more people will be thinking like this than many anticipate.
Maybe not so much people who can't be arsed with midweek games but who simply can't get to them and feel the amount of games they're missing has tipped into an unacceptable amount.
Like you say, not the clubs fault.

I haven't but fairly sure it was reported they'll be giving more notice of fixture changes.

Edit - @Skyblueweeman says it in here mate

If they do that, they'll potentially miss out on the Leicester style scenario mind. At the start of the season that they won the EPL, I doubt Sky had them down for many games.

If anyone finds any links, DM them to me 😊

Even tbough most fans wages will be stagnate, I suspect most fans would accept a moderate increase of circa 5-10%. If Doug goes in hard on the fans wallets with a 30% price hike, while some will pay it would be a regressive move for the club and specifically Dougs approval ratings which appear to be sky high.

The 7 3 o'clock Saturday games will probably decrease with Sky taking more EFL games.I feel sorry for those who live a distance away just hope they can manage to renew for a season that promises to keep the forward momentum going.

Why does Doug need to increase prices? When is the new TV deal coming in? He said that would change the way clubs look at ticket prices.
