After the announcement confirming we are playing on the 21st and with an earlier kick off that the day before. The first train leaving on the Sunday from cov is at 8.59 and won't get into Euston till half 10. Do people know any pubs putting on any coaches and if so the time they will be leaving. Ideally the earlier the better, thanks. PUSB

There will be loads, but as the confirmation only happened late yesterday I doubt timings will be confirmed yet. Sky Blue Tavern do them, join their mailing list. But be quick.
Train arriving at 10:30 that’s 5 hours before KO how much time do you want?

Yeah seen sky blue tav had like 4/5 coaches but they all sold out quite quickly. Yeah but you then have the hassle getting tube etc.. talking like half 11 getting to wembley (valuable drinking time lost) 😂. Ideally if a coach was leaving around 7/8ish would be spot on if it was just heading straight there

The Tav have been selling coach tickets since the we won. They were eon their 3rd coach a couple of days ago

Went on the official coaches from Bedworth last time but they were a nightmare £40 each and they turned up over an hour late then with traffic and getting into Wembley we had about 30mins before the match. Got one pint in all day.

Nearly two hours sat on the coach waiting to get out the car park after too.

Going to drive and try Weldstone this year. £7.50 for a car.

No travel will be hassle free. I'm already imagining our coach 'breaking down' just the other side of Rugby - Mate has hired a firm from Wolverhampton. Not joking.

I'd go with the Tav over ones organised by the club, last year for they okay of final the ones that left opposite the station were a shambles. We joined the que for the coaches at something like 8:30, I don't think we got to Wembley until past 13:00! They were prioritising people that had purchased "executive" tickets that didn't seem to exist!

We'll be getting the train early doors and mooching around the capitol.

Trains look shite, there's no quick trains only the ones that stop at every station.

Don't think I want to risk the trains again anyway after the carnage last time. Getting in at 3am was not fun.
Can't recall who it was but on another thread suggested that anybody considering going to Wembley via coach was insane.
I don't think the option of train travel is looking like the last bastion of a sound mind.

From Coventry there are trains outgoing that only stop at Watford and Milton Keynes

There are scheduled trains coming back with no stops

The Tavern have sold out already, 4 coaches.

I'm after any coaches that are leaving early too please. Got the coach for the Playoff and by the time we got there we couldn't get in anywhere and had to wait for the ground to open to get a beer. Ideally some coaches are all over this and will leave at like 7am.

I know someone who got on one of the first coaches out of cov from there and they were in London early doors.

You just had to turn up early and join the queue

We were on one of the clubs official coaches last year, we got home around midnight and it cost £50 for an Uber from Central Six to Walsgrave 😳

I'm driving this time. The Chiltern Rail fiasco back in May was a shocker.

Parking in a Sainsbury's car park for a fiver and then getting the tube.

Have you considered National Express? Coach from Cov at 7.30 gets to Marble Arch at 10. Short walk to Bond St then direct tube to Wembley in 20 mins.

You'll be lucky - It's not just the hire of the coach and the distance that factors the cost but I'm sure hourly drivers rate will also play a part.
I could be wrong but I think the coach company will give a price AND tell the prospective hirer what time the coach will depart.
If there is a need to leave earlier then that will increase the hourly rate, surely?
In that case I would imagine your 7am departure will be a very costly means of transport.

Parking in the capital for a fiver? 😮
Yep, use the Your Parking Space app. We use it for all away games. Not usually more than a fiver. Parked in an Asda car park for three quid next Friday in Huddersfield.

We were fairly early and things moved well, we were probably in the first third of the que. We got nearish the front then there was a period of about an hour where there were little to no coaches (apart from the odd exec one that they struggled to fill!). Some poor old bloke collapsed with heat stroke!

When we eventually got on we got caught in the traffic on the M40 and then the traffic into Wembley, the knock on delay of being late off the rank.

We got one of the clubs executive coaches, it really wasn’t very executive so phone charging points or working tv plus the toilet was unusable (not the fault of the coach but some filthy arse) pain that they went from the town centre would be much more sensible from the cbs

I wouldn't risk going by train 🚂 anyway, they'll probably be on strike anyway. 😲

Previous two trips were from the arena, 1st we went on std coach, got there quite late. Second time book executive, absolutely brilliant, hardly a queue got there really quickly. PO. Did exec again ended up on a std coach queued for ages. There was something on at the CBS so they couldn’t do the coaches from there, hence the fiasco by the train station. This one we have sorted our own.
