Robins on sky

Saying he set the team up wrong.

He is saying we should have been more aggressive.

Don't get it

Doesn’t explain why though. Why do you think we don’t play the same XI each week?

Either something in training that we don't see, or Robins is trying to be too clever in his selections.

Robins saying

Key injuries.
Not aggressive
Didn’t play well in 1st half.
2nd half more aggressive.
We kept missing the targets. Too rash.
Not enough time on clock after we scored.
We weren’t clinical.
We were sitting back with 5.
Didn’t play through our attacking midfielders.
2 poor goals.
If we can play like we did in 2nd half we’ve got a chance. Teams are getting away from us. Games running out.

Basically he admits the season is over.

We scored on 73
He chose to keep us 5 at the back

We were flying and robins tinkers

Stop tinkering

Collins
Milan
Thomas
Kitching
Bidwell
100%agree.
We have players who can play in a 3 to cover for Sakamoto.
He went back to the WB system at Sheff Weds in the cup and we were shit, and toothless. Same tonight.

I think there are 3 options:

1. He knows more about the players and their fitness than we do
2. He's incompetent and has been winging it for years
3. He's doing it to annoy us

My money is on 1.

Bold choice. I’m afraid the market says it’s 2 or 3 though.

All things being equal I think you’d rather have started Bidwell, Kitching and Wright in tonight’s game rather than on Monday night, but apparently it was imperative that we play full strength against Maidstone no matter what.

Or the thing he says every week isn’t a cunning ruse and is actually true and we have a small tired squad.

Yeah I bet kitching is exhausted.

Can't keep moaning about being tired when he could have brought the kids on against Maidstone but didn't.

He didn't need to bring ohare on and other first teamers.

The actions don't match the words.

That's twice Robins has dropped a player after they have scored a couple of goals in a match. Poor performance and team selection. Play off chances are over.

He was woefully out of position on both shots.
The defending was very poor and the shots were enough to challenge any keeper, but his positioning was piss poor on both occasions.
Where should he be positioned for the second one with a cross coming from the left?
