I am surprised tavares is getting a decent rating. I know goals are what he's there to do but in general play he was so poor and was getting bullied by sixth tier defenders.
Is he a winger or a 10? He was average on either wing but was in the right place when played centrally . His overall game tonight warranted a 5 but he scored two goals , which he’s in the side to do

Need to cut out the sloppiness, the lack of care with the ball, the inability to retain the ball at a throw in, there's almost an air of misguided arrogance at times as if they think they're better players than they actually are and they can turn it on at the flick of a switch.

His one thing is he is quite fast so he will be best at running into space behind people.

If he hast take it by a defender then that is another story.

We didn’t get out of 1st gear. When we needed to we did turn it on at the flick of a switch

Simms vs Wright for top scorer is as tight as we all thought at the start of the season just they havent scored as many as we all expected. Regardless long live Robins and long may it continue

Yeah hard to rate really as we didn't really get out of second gear and there wasn't any real intensity.
Stand out performances for Simms and Palmer.
Kelly kept it ticking over all game too

Next season with another striker competing we will see the best of them , especially Simms in my opinion who has all the attributes to get better and better

Tavares isn’t a right winger, best used up top but only if there is space behind…like tonight in the last 20.
