What do we know about Ephron Mason-Clark?

The 24-year-old is predominantly a left winger but he can also play on the right or as a striker. He's drescribed as very dynamic, very strong and very quick.

He has scored an impressive 15 goals – ten in the league to help fire the Posh to third in the table – and eight assists in all competitions, taking in 36 games to date this season.

One of Peterborough’s star players, Mason-Clark started out at Barnet, making his debut in League Two in 2016, before dropping into the National League with the Bees, scoring 22 goals in 187 games in all for the club before joining United on a three year deal for an undisclosed fee in the summer of 2022.

He scored 12 goals in his first season at London Road, where he helped the club get to the League One play-offs where they were knocked out by Sheffield Wednesday in the semi-finals despite taking a 4-0 lead into the second leg, losing 5-1 at Hillsborough.

Don't really get it from the player perspective either. He's 24, not 19. Why spend another half a season in L1 when you could be fighting for a place in a potential premier league team next year?
I’d imagine the decision has been taken fully out of his hands

It’s not his choice. It’s within Peterborough’s gift whether or not they sell. Like us, they’re chasing promotion themselves.

I don’t think we are 100% happy with this deal and you have to wonder if the player is too. However he is /was owned by Peterborough and their chairman historically plays hard ball .
If we’ve got him for a reasonable fee then I’m happy cause he could be worth far more come the summer
He’s an exciting player and one that improves us next season and beyond . And as for some worries about his age by some Saka was 26 when he signed for us

Not sure I could handle looking at my phone all day to find out we're signing no one.

I'm sure he's a good buy, but fuck me we need more bodies now.. Two more injuries and we're fucked, I'm concerned if we have enough to get a result at Norwich and beat Sheff Wednesday.

We’ve got Haji Wright returning to fitness and Torp getting up to speed . It’s really not that bad

Bristol have signed Dire Mebude on a loan. That's the kind of deal we should've been doing.

I think that sums up our lack of depth in that wing department, that Tavares will likely be on the bench for the rest of the season.
