Just worked out a way how to watch the game for free on Friday night, it's on Paramount Plus Australia.

1. Set your VPN to Australia on your firestick ( I'm using Surfshark: Adelaide, Australia)
2. Download Paramount Plus App on Firestick.
3. They're offering a Free 7 Day trial - I've just created a Gmail address to register a new account.
4. Make sure you turn off the Auto Renewal - this will be in your Amazon Account subscriptions.
5. Choose sports in the App menu and the games are at the top - the City game is ready to go on Friday night when you scroll right.

You’ll be able to watch it on bet365.com if you have an account with some funds in it (min £5). The video stream is pretty low res and crappy with no commentary, but it’s an option if you’re not comfortable setting up a VPN.

Set the VPN to Australia on my laptop and tried to sign up for this, but it declined 2 of my bank cards for the trial.. Did you put in an Australian address too in that section?

How are you signing up? Looks like he’s doing it through Amazon subscriptions.

Yeah but won't it be really early in the morning in Australia

There will be plenty of streams available I'd imagine without needing to do all of that. (although to be fair you'll probably get a better picture quality doing that compared to most of the streams).

Has anyone got any other suggestions of accessing it later? ESPN led me into a false sense of security of being able to sign up for a month using a VPN and I'd ideally like to have some English speaking commentary (hence the 365 option being a non-starter).

Absolute pain in the rear trying to access games that have been picked for international coverage

It didn't ask for my bank details, when it went through my Amazon account I thought it wouldn't work because of my UK address but it has worked. I was prepared to start looking for Australian addesses but didn't need to, I've used the Paramount + App in the past so that might be why it didn't need payment details

I've got a dodgy Firestick, this has every league game but he can't guarantee the cup games. I went to the Oxford game but my wife couldn't watch as there were no streams on the Firestick.

Can you watch full screen? Watched the Oxford game on here... The screen was tiny and the score and odds update 5 secs ahead of the footage.

On a phone you can watch it full screen, but don’t think you can easily on a laptop or tablet. You can hide the odds and all that junk via the on screen menu though. I was stuck at a kids party for the 3rd round game so I was just glad of having some way to keep an eye on what was happening.

If you're using firefox (might be a plugin on it) there's sometimes an option to pull the video out and make it a floating box then you can enlarge it. I often use it for now TV for the second monitor, but also it works on 365 intermittently.
