SWFC fan here. Just want to apologise for the absolute scum racially abusing your player Palmer. The BBC Radio Sheffield phone in is full of our fans saying the same. These idiots are not welcome at our club and should be banned for life. No excuse.

As for the game, you have a good, smart team there. Miles ahead of us in terms of quality. That said we could have got a point with that late chance and we worked hard.

Good luck for the rest of the season, your fans were the loudest we’ve had all season. Makes a change to see you doing well after the absolute nightmare you’ve had the last 20 odd years.

Hopefully we’ll be able to compete soon!

It's actually massive, that game had so many potential banana skins in it with the state of the pitch and the weather, a big crowd in a hostile environment. I don't care that it wasn't pretty, it was hard fought and gritty.

I just hope the cup game doesn't turn nasty now.

Good value for the win but made it a lot closer than it needed to be with some questionable defending. Front row seat for Sheaf’s goal, gloriously taken.

Yeah, few words exchanged with a teenager early on in the first half. And a few other bits here and there. It’s not like him so I assumed something was said to him but bottled saying it. And then 15 minutes later there we are.

And don’t say I wouldn’t have been jumped on saying I’m jumping to conclusions and talking bollocks if I’d posted what I wanted to say.

Fair play, although looks like it’s a common theme running through certain sections of your fans - at least twice this season plus mocking a dead baby, and questions about Darren Moore leaving for similar reasons?

I, and I assume many on here, don’t blame the majority, and fair play for coming on to try and fight your corner, but it’s not just one fan and one isolated incident.

The championship will be better off without your Sunday league quality pitch and disgusting section of racist ‘fans’ - the spotlight is on your club now and I hope you get what you deserve.

Come on mate, I live in Yorkshire and can absolutely say that this will only be a very small minority of morons.

Think some of the anger directed at Owls is a bit OTT, in exactly the same way the we got it in the neck last week for flag-gate.

Small minority of cunts are always going to exist- what we shouldn't do is blow it up even further.

Isn't it good to hear that once again - our away support is getting the plaudits? Across the 92 how many teams support get this kind of praise everywhere they go? Pound for pound the best fans in the pyramid.

Good result today, not our best performance but the pitch and conditions were awful. Sheaf was class. Wednesday need to teach their players that you can’t tackle from behind anymore.
I’d personally give Kasey a rest on Friday, a reappearance might detract from the objectives of progression. We don’t need to get in a scrap with them, just play them off the park….again !

Wasn't at the game but even if palmer had been goading fans no need for the shit he received. I thought we were lucky to win today as you played well.
