Not our best today.

We were ok in the first 10 but then let West Brom make more noise.

Second half we was good towards the end but there was a lot of loud arguing in block 15.

the idiots that think every player that misplaces a pass is shit and should forward every 2 seconds we’re back.

Thought it was poor overall , but still better than what we used to have .

West brom probably best to come here this season , us making their lives easier helped that ofcourse
They were fans of two halves like their team. Decent first but quiet second.

Early kick off? Generally subdued mood caused by the death of Snoz? Literally nothing to cheer about on the pitch for 75 minutes? Combination of all 3?
Yes certainly the first two . A strange day and performance. Shame we couldn't win for John and some of the others who have sadly left us.

Much of a muchness, it’s easy when you’re being gifted goals. Think Stoke will be better

If that’s all West Brom can muster after leading the entire game in an end of 4k then it must be very dull supporting them.

Flat all round today

Yep, definitely worst this season. Early kick off and a poor performance.

West Brom were the best so far. Didn't think it was deafening but kept it up unlike others who have sung the odd song here and there. Probably down to the fact they won unlike most who have been this season.

Someone on here said Albion sang only generic songs. I thought the variety of songs was superb from the Baggies fans and yes it is easier when winning but they were very good IMO and by far the best here this season. From block 19.

They were all generic though.

Similar to a lot of ours really.

All of them sung by others.

Rocking over the world was sung by Cov fans at Bournemouth. Allez is sung by about 60 teams in England.
None called Coventry City and rocking all over the world wasn’t or hasn’t been sung at any game I have been to. Ever. Lets agree to disagree. I thought Albion fans schooled us today.

Only game as subdued was that was first of against Fulham so think it must be the early kickoff

Rocking over the world was literally sung by Cov fans at Bournemouth last week.

It's the latest Allez, every team are going to start singing it.

I repeat, at any game I have been to. Didn’t go to Bournemouth but look forward to hearing it at Huddersfield next Saturday.

We made them look good. On current form, they are a very average team to be fair. Problem is we are worse than many teams at the moment. Confidence is a funny thing. The 87 team had loads of it and beat a much fancied team filled with internationals in the FA Cup final. Sadly we could not do JS and members of that team proud today with a lacklustre performance and gifted possession numerous times to them. If they were the best team to face us at home this season, they should have won by more than 1 goal.

I think at home we've generally been outstanding getting behind the team and getting a fortress type atmostphere. I was in 17 and the poor performance on the pitch obviously affected the crowd's mood around me.

I take heart that 2-0 down at HT, with a large crowd treated to a fairly woeful performance on the pitch, there wasn't the booing or anger of previous seasons at home. We've turned a corner in that respect.

Frustrating when you start your attack with 2 glorious pass's and the third pass go's straight to a opposition player ...and then your on the back foot again

Think it was a case of Albion being out of the blocks quicker than us and their fans responded to it while ours went back into our shells. Then got the early goal and it mirrored what was going on on the pitch into the home crowd unfortunately.
Probably as flat as it has been this season.

Hard to generate an atmosphere when 2-0 down. Fans had nothing to get behind until the last 10 minute rally.

What about when we were at nil all? our fans got behind the team earlier in the season when behind?
Were we not 5-0 down at Luton and still getting behind the team?
Never understood the “fans had nothing to get behind” mentality.

Totally agree. 'Chicken/egg' situation. We are separate from them. Thought we'd turned a massive corner at home re atmosphere which has been magnificent this season (up until y'day.)
Are we to assume 'normal service' has been resumed?

No. It was an early kick off where we were losing from early on.

The mentality has changed from earlier in the season. At the start it felt like we were enjoying the ride and making the most of being back at football/Ricoh. Now the expectation is too high from most and they were let down.

It was still better than the atmosphere at most grounds we've played at this season.
