Still want to see their pen shout again. Might be nothing in it on the replay though
No penalty, their player kicks Hyam.

Ours was an absolute stonewaller.

Gutted about that game, though we were exception for most of the game just that last bloody pass.

Horrible niggling Birmingham team, I understand that refs are letting more go but I swear they were pulling shirts or holding on every bloody time.

Didn't read the entire thread. This was a total waste of time. The only positives since international break are the clean sheets, but we seem to have forgotten how to score and look absolutely toothless.

The ‘we didn’t lose’ is all well and good until we come up against a side that’s more ruthless. It should be acceptable to see tonight as 2 points dropped.

If he'd been on for 20 minutes or so he probably wouldn't have done it. But substitutions as on Saturday were just wrong again tonight. If you're going to bring Walker on give him more than meaningless cameos

it's almost like cos he went for it at the weekend and the game went away from us he's decided it's no going to work tonight.

If you're going to make attacking subs and push for the win it's better to do it at home with the crowd behind you.

I do sometimes wonder what is going through MR's head when considering subs. Surely he can see Kane is a much better crosser than Dabo? Everyone else can.

If I were Kane or Sheaf I’d be seriously unhappy not to get on there. Begging for Sheaf in the middle and someone who could deliver from wide.

It’s almost more insulting to bring Walker on in added time than not at all. Would love to hear the rationale and to be fair to Robins there is always justification even if it’s not agreeable.

He didn’t need to change shape tonight as he did on Saturday. Just get Sheaf in for his superior distribution, Kane for the delivery and the rest can probably stay as is.

Great performance form Maatsen really, that absolute howler of a right footed shot at the end aside. I was getting annoyed at him coming in the middle and thinking he's a striker but then thats what got their player sent off so

He acquitted himself quite well but it concerns me he’s one of few willing to take a shot on.

Perhaps but u have been crying all evening
Not really.

I'm disappointed we've not beaten a poor team and I've said where I think we could do better.

Some people would prefer a match thread of people just saying "come on city", "I hope we score", "go on city"

Fucking hell it wouldn’t be the end of the world if we got no points at Bournemouth. Have a bit of perspective.

It's a figure of speech. I obviously don't mean it'd be the end of the world if we lost, just that taking something from the game now becomes far more important to try and maintain where we are than if we'd have won tonight.

We should have finished that game off in the 1st half especially as we should of had a pen.
Just Did'nt take our chances,
But another good performance and bodes well for next few tough games

Can’t decide if I’m more bothered about not burying at least one of those chances or the two points dropped.

Can only assume Sheaf wasn't fully fit. No way Allen would come on ahead of him otherwise

If there was no intention of using him for that reason then why have him on the bench? It was crying out for him especially when they went down to 10.

We were anything but exceptional - we ran out of ideas and had no real plan at all in the second half - the keeper was hardly tested all night

Not at all. Just don't cry when we played well

I think frustrating not to win and we need to start scoring soon but overall happy with how we played is a perfectly reasonable response

But hey don't let facts get in the way of your whining tonight

I've calmed down since the final whistle so I retract my earlier comments. It's a disappointing result but it actually shows something else which is emerging as we've been established in the top 6: teams are coming to the CBS and sitting behind the ball where we're at our most effective when teams try to come at us.

Next time don't post for 30 mins after a game if you are unable to stop posting nonsense

Which is why we'll win Saturday
