Clueless retracted.

Not completely though using the Netflix doc as an explanation for anything.

His dad is literally Darth Vader though.
That's mean. I'm gonna give you a 10 second penalty between posts

I actually rate Stroll. Not saying he would get the chance without daddy but I’ve seen worse paid drivers.

Stroll has the talent. But lacks that little bit extra some drivers have. Might be a confidence issue as he has been in a few big crashes.

He should focus on driving rather than Skyping other people…

Get in Lando!!!!

In my McLaren pole induced delirium, I forgot to add what a mega lap ftom George and Sainz as well. As for Mercedes, what a way to miss an open goal.

Well done Lando and another excellent performance by George.

Lewis is full of errors at the moment and I bet he doesn't fancy starting in the pack tomorrow where incidents frequently occur.

He always has been when he cant drive away in a car 8 tenths clear of the pack

Not quite how I remember the last 14.5 years to be honest. Even when he's had inferior machinery he's always always chucked very few errors compared to others. That's why when he does mess something up it tends to be remembered, because they are few and far between.

So pleased for Lando and George. Perfect strategy in quali. If it’s dry tomorrow I expect LH or romp away and looking forward to seeing Max come through from the back.

Utter utter bollocks - allways has 🤣

Slid off lapping cars at Imola
Brake magic button at Baku restart
Starting in Hungary on wets when literally the whole grid went in the pits to start on drys
Crashing into the pitwall, taking out his jackman and spinning on his one lap on dry tyres in quali this weekend.

and thats just this season.

Going back to times with the pressure on we have off the top of my head

Driving into the pits when pitlane closed Monza last year and getting a 10 second stop go,

Doing practice starts in the wrong place Russia last year when Bottas was bossing the weekend.

Crashing into Button in Canada 2011 as Button was leading him in the championship.

And Massa numerous times that season

Crashing into Rosberg Spain 2016 When Rosberg had a commanding championship lead at that time

He doesnt cope with pressure

Bottas has had a new engine put in overnight. Makes sense I suppose.

It doesn't. Its gone down like a lead balloon in the F1 twittersphere that. Smacks of desperation from Mercedes. They only put a new engine in last race and he started last. To sacrifice Bottas to try and hold max up from the back is quite feeble tbf.

Can see it backfiring, Bottas cant hold his own piss back let alone another driver

Does make sense though to some degree. Mercedes had a significant advantage over Red Bull all through practice. Also, Max said he was struggling in practice to overtake. Which means when Max comes up to try and pass Bottas, he might not find it that easy.

Anyway, it wasn't that long ago Red Bull sacrificed Perez in qualifying to get Max a slipstream and better grid slot.

I just want to see Lando take the win, Russell will Jump aside for Lewis, and Sainz is going to be a sitting duck on the straights. Its Lando v Lewis for me

Agree with the second point, Bottas has a long history of getting mired in the midfield unable to get past lesser cars. But on the other hand there's possibly 7 races to go and with 2 new engines in the kitty he should be fine from here on in.

I think it would have made more sense to give an engine to Lewis this weekend but I guess Merc are still eyeing up the victory this afternoon and will think that starting 4th with their main rival starting at the back still gives them a decent chance of doing that.

Whatever happens, it'll certainly be interesting at the front and at the back so it should be an enjoyable afternoon with plenty of incidents going on all over the place, something the Russian GP isn't known for,

I agree, i think Mercedes are pushing it to think Lewis doesnt need another engine this year. And thats for all the teams, 3 engines to cover 22 races is not doable

Perez can win this. He's pulling away from from 6th onwards with tyres that should be shot. Awesome drive.
