Nope. Biggest difference was Kane admitted the charge. Canos denied it. Rob Dickie backed up Kane's version of events. I guess only those involved will genuinely know what happened.

A physio visiting my 87 year old stepfather the other day commented on a lawn mower 'bucket' that was left on his neighbour's lawn. 'That's been left out for the gypos' says he. You can't call them that says the physio, and then gave him a 5 minute lecture on Romany culture, Irish heritage etc. 'So you understand that you can't call them that do you?' she finished. 'I can' he replied 'just not when you're here'. I shrugged apologetically and mouthed 'sorry' to her from behind his back, and changed the subject.

The squad is not better than last season.

There’s not many teams in the league that have a better squad this year than last season, Covid has hit everyone hard. There are teams who have weakened a lot more than us.

I might have agreed a few weeks ago, but Gyökeres, Sheaf, Moore & Maatsen have all been excellent. Clarke-Salter too soon to tell.

The squad is better than 12 months ago for the simple reason that our team now has a season's Championship experience behind them. The players that were here last season are better for that experience and noticeably feel far more comfortable playing at this level. I think many of our players have even further improvement in them too, which is always the upside of bringing in younger players, rather than the old expensive 'names' who are on their way down that many of our rivals prefer to sign.

I mean he's signed him for a reason hasn't he , and I doubt it's to replace dabo .. I also doubt he wants to sit on the bench for 2 years , so he's got plans for him .

Nah, bench cover for three positions were lacking in. No way he gets in the tram ahead of Dabo, Maatsen or Sheaf. Probably just happy to be at a club and not frozen out.

I'm not sure , he's played 64 matches for QPR in the last 2 seasons and then was frozen out over comments made about a fellow teammate .
But let's look at the figure as an indicator.. 64 matches in 2 seasons at QPR a team that finished top 10 ... he's got to have something right?
He won't play where Sheaf is , he won't play where dabo is .. there's 1 place left naturally at LWB where we are currently using an inexperienced loanee.
You may be correct , I doubt he's signed to sit on the bench .. initially maybe , but long term I'm not sure that's the plan

He’s been a first choice in each of the last 3 championship seasons - he’s not going to be on a low salary so I think there’s a plan not just to warm a bench

He'll play plenty. We'll rotate, we'll have injuries, suspensions, etc. We can make 3 subs a game. Seems a decent option to have.
