Where are we at (1 Viewer)

You’re 12 months behind us, you’re doing what we’ve done but 12 months after, you came up with a really young squad, got a season of championship football into them, improving them as a individuals and a team, as the season progressed, now you’ve got a young energetic championship team with 12 months experience under their belt, that are hungry to improve and succeed. Each win and impressive performance will inspire the next. your next big challenge is keeping your team together next summer.

That’s where your at in my opinion looking on from the outside.
You are more on the inside than half of the posters on here

You’re silly if you think that.

Our ownership model is completely different.

Ours is focused on financial return for investors not directly associated with the club .

Barnsley are part of a group of clubs and it’s pretty obvious why that is and the Financial exploitation that can and will occur from that

Watching yesterday with a lot of the same players we had last year, it’s the year’s championship experience that’s made the biggest difference. Our much vaunted attack line isn’t delivering as it needs to, but if/ when they click we’ve got to be looking at mid-table as our target, the only thing missing yesterday was end product. We were shown up at QPR last year, the progress is clearly visible.

Not much better than last season. Midfield looks soft and forwards (wagehorn and walker) wouldn't get game time at other championship clubs. If gyo and ohare get injured we look like a decent league 1 team

Paul Conway is no longer the owner of the club. He has a made up title.

You have owners who want to own clubs across Europe and use it to their commercial advantage and exploit fair play rules. Fortunately they seem pretty amateurish in it.

Didnt They try and buy some Scottish club at some point and it wasn’t allowed?

The whole organisation stinks

Got to be honest O’Hares final ball has been one of our biggest issues going forwards.

You’re just blinded by the fact they own other clubs and not actually looking at the way they are running them.

Barnsley owners are operating the Moneyball strategy. The majority shareholder now has I think 6 clubs where he has shares in it.

It’a a copy of the moneyball strategy - it’s nothing like us

“I’m a thick northern twat and Paul Eees a lovely Lad who raced whippets round the back of me Ouse. If Paul says somethin it’s proper right as he’s a Barnsley lad”

I never mentioned the way the club are run off the field. I was on about what’s happening on it. If you don’t think you’re following the same path as us you’re wrong.

Off field strategy is obviously not mutually exclusive to the strategy on it

Are you a young side that have had half a season settling in, half a season competing comfortably, and now kicking on to the next level, due to that experience from last season ?

that’s what Luton are doing. It’s nonsense to just say oh look they did what we did last year, so when Blackpool were promoted to the premiership - were you emulating the

I’ll ask again. Is it money ball?

I’ll ask again are you following the same path as us, (Are you a young side that have had half a season settling in, half a season competing comfortably, and now kicking on to the next level, due to that experience from last season ?) but 12 months after, exclusive to us or not are you doing what we’ve just done.
Is that where your at ?
