Not too shabby tbf, if you add a couple of decent defenders, along with Moore, O'hare and Bright, then we will be a very competitive outfit this season.

Wilson proper gives me the jitters.

Awful goal, Pask got his body in completely the wrong position. Other than that, very good I thought. Viktor the standout performer for me, Hamer and DaCosta also doing well.

Quite impressed with that. Decent shape and a few a nice moments going forward. Waghorn with a couple of lovely touches and flicks. He looks like an intelligent player.

I went to the Anglo-Scottish cup, a couple of thousand freezing cold fans dotted around for a draw against St Mirren

Wilson and Pask are awful. Hamer has been great. Da Costa - pleasantly surprised by him. Rest have been average. Got to consider no O’Hare, Hyam, Bright, Kelly. Encouraged by Burroughs and Eccles.

Remember we have quite a few players missing too

Midfield and attack look OK, still don’t see the point of Allen. Defence and GK needed.

Is Walker injured?

I remember playing at a similar ground in Düsseldorf. My Sunday side played against a semi pro German team (equivalent to Nuneaton level I believe) and they spanked us 6-0 in 80 degrees heat. It was a keep ball exercise for them whilst we were all still half pissed from the night before. The facilities in Europe at grassroots are vastly superior to ours here!

Jamie Allen is a poor mans Jay Tabb

It'll be a useful exercise playing against such good quality opposition but it's just a training game init.

Walker is on the bench.

Decent half, few chances. Arguably more than they've had.

Waghorn link play is very good. Eccles brings the ball out of defence with confidence. Very comfortable on the ball. Burroughs doing a great job considering playing out of position. Very quick to press.

Not a lot you can know from these games but so far De Costa, Sheaf and Hamer are doing well. Victor and Waghorn showing glimpses. And Eccles looks like we have a player in him.

Let's see if Jones can get some game minutes in his legs without reaction 2nd half.

But so far decent shape and some good signs.
