Is this news?

Club shop/ticket office to be in the South East corner of the ground facing the train station/Arena Park. Apparently there’s police cells and storage there now:

Great news, makes that whole side less lifeless and hopefully means more foot traffic and random visits from people going to Tesco.

Lock me up in the club shop if old.

I think the biggest takeaway from this is that retail income is 4 times higher than it was before Hummel

Not surprised, dunno how it took so long to realise that if you put in even a little effort and thought into kits and products they sell better!

The Puma and Nike years were pretty bleak. I brought a few shirts in sales during those years but it was so half arsed and uninspiring. Remembering things like how the first few years of the Nike deal the training wear and kids kits were made by Avec, grim.

Remember the "Nike" deal was by Justsport group who are basically a 3rd party with a Nike contract. Avec is there in house brand so was them trying to push that. Plus Nike would not have training ware in clubs colours.

I guess smaller clubs use them as a one stop shop. As kit supplier and run the shop.

No club that can sell 5k+ shirts really should be using templates. Massive kick in the teeth to fans having to pay £40+ for a shirt you can buy for £10 with no badging.

With Hummel it looks like we have the perfect deal. Classic brand with a tie to the club. Bespoke kits and the freedom to do something different each season. Long may it continue.

Think those training shirts we had printed over old Leicester shirts was our lowest point

Wonder if we're getting a pub as well. If not at the Ricoh at least nearby.

Yesterday the club posted about Dhillons wanting Sky Blue's memorabilia. Today they're posting about the Sky Blue Tavern. I know they already open on matchdays but if they're planning to make it a Sky Blue pub that would be brilliant.

Makes sense if there's a Police presence there, some of the prices clubs charge nowadays are criminal 🤣

New web site Sky Blue Tavern | Coming soon!

Is this the bombay bar and grill, butts road?

Yes, also the old dragon Phoenix restaurant. I didn’t realise Dhillon’s also had a place near the old Inter Shop in town, walked passed there today and was absolutely heaving. Dhillon’s must be doing very well, hopefully they can buy the club soon.
