Not sure about specific studies of the eat out scheme, but there is plenty of evidence that adults socialising in restaurants, bars, or worse, at home is a major driver of infections.
Part of the ONS report that found teachers are not at any greater risk than others going out to work mentioned that most of the teacher infections were contracted in the staff rooms, teacher to teacher.......kids generally offer less risk...the younger they are the further it falls.

Oh yeah, obviously from a basic coronavirus safety POV it was an extremely risky move. It deliberately flew in the face of scientific wisdom, and the August/September case numbers obviously speak for themselves. I just find it interesting that it's now taken as gospel that Eat Out to Help Out was the big driver, and wondered if there was more to it than the UoW paper. (Considering how many other papers on other Covid topics have been completely ignored)

Income Tax as freezing the lower threshold just means that as wages rise due to inflation the threshold stays the same so people pay more tax and people who didn't pay tax are then pushed into the tax paying bracket.
Also could corporation tax not be a progressive taxation like income tax? More you earn the more you pay?
profits below 50k will remain at 19% and then tapered between 50k and 250k profits. Over 250k profits is 25%

Yeah, there was quite a bit mate. Some quite big stuff around investment. Wasn’t taking notes though so can’t tell you full detail (I’d be guessing some bits). Some interesting/different things....will wait to read some opinion pieces to see whether people in the know think they will be useful/good (some look positive though)

Because it's going to punish a lot of smaller businesses.
Thus reduce demand which I'm not sure if you know isn't a great idea in a demand shock. If business making 95k a year then has to start paying more CT they will look to reduce other costs which is likely to be wages which then reduces demand.
Raise it for the big boys but start the tapering at a much higher level of profit.
Not that I heard. I was hoping there would be (felt like it would be right). I guess that partially ties into CT increase though

Regarding Freeports, will the news mention that between 1984 and 2012 while being in the EU we had 7 freeports and the reason we currently don't have them is the Tories got rid of them.
