Our injury luck this season has been utterly horrendous. Think Pask might be ok if we play 4 at the back, although I don't fancy him at all at wing back. DaCosta has looked like a headless chicken every time I've seen him play.
Cant remember a season where we have had so many injuries. Not just minor ones either

Just mentioned on the radio that Jordon Thompson has had a "freak accident" and has cut his foot in the shower. Apparently quite a bad one and could be out for about 3 months. I know he isn't a first teamer but sounds horrible.
Yet another one

Can’t see fadz straight back in , I think he has a problem also , we are not getting much luck at the moment
I think he has too I wouldn’t fanct DaCosta in a flat 4 unless we use Pask...I would drop sheaf out with Hamer and James CDM with Allen and O’Hare behINF GYO

I think logically we will stick with the 4 that finished play a 4 again and start with Pask at RB with Fadz on the bench.

Wilson

Pask Osti Hyam McCallum

Allen James Hamer

O'Hare

Gyokeres Baka

Subs: Marosi, Fadz, Dacosta, Sheaf, Shipley, Eccles, Jobello, Biamou, Bapaga

Dabo has done his medial ligaments in the knee he got hit on by that donkey of a Weds player. Will be out for a while now.

Mason didn't feature for St Mirron this evening. Maybe he's injured or perhaps on his way back with Giles now gone. Think that would be a good move especially if a back 4 may be used more regularly without Dabo.

To be fair, the Wednesday player looked like he slipped. It was all a bit unlucky. Which is typical us right now!

That pitch is ready made for injuries unfortunately. I am surprised more players didn't lose there footing. It looked awful.

Yep, completely unintentional. Freak injury. Thought from the second he went into him as he did that it could be a bad one.

Yeah, they're a physical side but no intent there, Hamer's ball out to Dabo was loose & he had every right to challenge for it.

Pask needs to take advantage of the situation and make the shirt his. It may not be his prefered position, but sod that just get on with the job.

I think Pask has ability but being a professional footballer is as much about mindset and attitude as skill.

More than likely although that second half has me thinking we should go again... Fadz would always start for me over hyam in a flat back 4 anyway next to ostigard

I've always felt Fadz is a bit more susceptible in a four because he hasn't got the extra cover if he gets beaten. Of course it depends on the team you're playing - if they're a team that likes to lump it forward to a big front man shove him in everytime - he'll head it away all day long.

Of course we miss his organising, esp with Kelly out too but Hyam and Osti looked decent enough as a pair. I wouldn't change it unless injury necessitated it. if we're talking about covering Dabo hopefully Dacosta won't be out long and Pask filled in more than adequately.

Agree with this. He also struggles in the main if he's up against quick forwards.

I think he'll be useful against Birmingham given their style of play. Especially as Karanka is likely to start Jutkiewicz due to Hogan being out with a hamstring issue.

Dabo potentially out for up to 3 months but could be earliest depending on the grade of the knee ligament tear.
Bad news.
