Not sure how you've got he's out of ideas from that. But there's not an easy answer and even if he has one he's not going to announce it on the radio a few days ahead of the next game!

I don’t mean it in a bad way, but I think tonight was a penny dropping moment for him

You've got to love all the people howling for subs all through the second half, then complaining that the subs MR makes are too late, only for us to immediately concede once we actually do change the formation.

The subs were the right call for me keep it tight & go out and win it late on only issue was the striker we brought on was trying to dribble past players in central midfield

We should have conceded way earlier when Sheaf played a lovely through ball to Roberts

There is an element here as well playing in new stadia , giving other teams to much respect , no fans, it is not easy it cannot be . They have a lot to learn but I believe they will and we won’t go down

If they do then they should give it fuck all credibility and listen to the coaching staff.
But now more than ever they read these forums, all teams players are doing it , social media is where it is right now , everyone should remember it, as the wrong comment could literally crush a player , for my part would hate to think I have done that

PUSB keep going guys

Jamie Allen is now tucked up tight on the sleep coach home drifting off happily. He was frantic and nervous about how his manager would react to his performance and didn't know if he was going to keep his place in the squad. Poor Jamie didn't know anything anymore. But then, one more scroll of the screen and he sees "keep going guys" from BackRoomRummermill, all Jamie's worries fell away. "Yeah, they're all behind me now, on Friday I'm going to go out and win the game just for that guy" he thought.

Didn’t watch the match but I see we lost to two goals in the last 10 minutes one almost the last kick of the match, that’s not a drubbing is it, goes without saying we need our better players back and up to speed.

Nobody is expecting us to win the league playing it around like we do but its the basics going wrong. Defenders losing men by walking into the midfield for no reason, midfielders misplacing 3 yard passes under 0 pressure, strikers not setting foot in the opposition box for 90 minutes, management not playing to our strengths. If we don't improve our performances then we're fucked because the opposition isn't getting any easier all season.

but the over riding factor as to why we're making basic errors is the quality of the opposition in my opinion and it's a factor that people are massively underplaying.
People keep saying no pressure but I don't think that's true. The options aren't there, we don't have the time on the ball we did before.

As for not playing to our strengths, we clearly can't play in the manner we did last year and because of that we can't properly utilise Godden.

As for the opposition not getting easier, as I've pointed out, the teams from 15th down are pretty shit so far, we've played 2 of them and got 4 points, however, we still need to start beating some of the better teams if we are going to stay up.

Pretty much echos what many of us have said and been jumped on for saying.

A very honest assessment, which actually gives me confidence that he is the right man to take us forward. Trust him to put it right. No lame excuses about them having players earning more money and receiving complimentary blockbuster video cards. Yeah, but their right back once cleaned the boots of someone who played for Rapid Vienna......

what a stupid comment.
You think them having players who cost millions and have played for Man U and in Champions league and International tournaments isn't a factor.
We're up against a huge gulf in class with some of these teams.

You are saying that what fans say in whatever medium has no bearing on a players morale...

ok , sure that must be the case .

Thought we did a little better in the second half and Sheaf looked OK. Bad day for Shipperz though.

Don't know why ppl are attacking Godden. Did he even get a touch of the ball? Lobbing high balls to him on his own surrounded by 6 feet+ defenders doesn't count as bringing him into the game.

And we can't pass it around amongst ourselves waiting for him to give his marker the slip so we can play him in like last year.
We've got to find another way, it will be key to our season.
