I can't remember the rules, but I think if you go into admin after a certain date, and it's academic in terms of whether it affects promotion or relegation, then the points deduction rolls over to next year.

Julien Dacosta is allegedly signing a 3 year contract in the coming days.

Surely you or they are mixing up James with Marcus. The former not even a deluded Mackem would expect at the Stadium of Light. The latter is a possibility

I see Ronan Curtis has scored again for Portsmouth. Always admired him. If Portsmouth miss out on promotion, I wonder how much he would cost to pry him from them.

From what I can see he’s spent half the season injured.

Also see Marcus Browne has scored for Oxford. Would be a good alternative/complement to O’Hare.

Would make sense because of the link with Wolves

How about Josh Windass? Wigan player not currently in their plans- on loan at Sheffield Wednesday.

would fit in O’Hare’s CAM role, and has an excellent scoring record from that position. Scored 2 in 4 games on loan at Sheff Weds. and averaged a goal every 4 or 5 games at Wigan from CAM prior to that?

surely wouldn’t cost too much either, and still a good age.

They almost signed him on loan in January, in this case they got there first.

I'd be very happy with Windass. Morsy the skipper is a good player too and would be an upgrade on Kelly.

They bought him for £2M. Even in their current situation you'd think they'll want to recoup at least half of that if he's sold.

Didn't Portsmouth put a ridiculous price tag on Curtis during the Jan transfer window? Something in the region of around £3M I think it was.

He's been their best player by a country mile. £3m for Curtis doesn't seem ridiculous to me. If they did sell him I don't think they would get far off that figure.
