Fook them its their stadium let them do as they like. A 15 year old stadium run by a rugby outfit in the shit financially let it be........It will need a good refit if anyone serious is interested in the place. With Covid the longer it goes on the more they are losing. No concerts and no free tickets to hand out to all and sundry.

Had a meeting with a guy from the Sports Grounds Safety Committee before lockdown about a few things. He said the cheapest seat you can get away with is around 30 quid and it can go up to between 60 & 70 depending on the type of unit installed. That’s just parts too. It doesn’t include paying someone to fit it. Can’t see Wasps shelling out that much. Especially in a pandemic.

Sounds about right. And allow £50 labour per seat and the cost would be upward of £3m for the whole stadium. Fair to say W*sps are not changing the seats anytime soon!

I’m pretty sure most - if not all - of their squad took a pay cut of 40% soon after lockdown. Wouldn’t be best pleased if I’d sacrificed my earnings whilst the owners splashed out on an unnecessary seat change, purely for the aesthetics within the stadium. They are in the shit, they definitely won’t be forking out for this.
