Must be some sort of maintenance. Even Wasps aren't mental enough to spend a small fortune replacing all the seats in the middle of a pandemic when they've no idea when they'll next have any income. Thats before you consider the state of their accounts before the pandemic.

I've heard from a good source that Wasps are looking to replace the seats with better quality ones but will reduce the capacity. Like the posh seats in the cinema.

Dove past the Ricoh today.

The website that twitter account links to (the website itself points back to a completely different twitter account which is another indication it may not be genuine) has some examples of their recent work. Not sure 'better quality' is the phrase that springs to mind.

I saw someone yesterday posted that their friend works for a plastics company had wasps had ordered 30 odd thousand seats. Also said was going to be renamed Coventry wasps nest and wasps are chasing name to coventry wasps.

Im guessing its all related

Funny how they follow duggins. clearly on the wind up

It’s 100% not a real account.

Seats have been in Brentford’s ground for a while and looks nothing like this picture

Low end estimate to replace the seats seems to be about £1.5m. No way they're spending that just to change the colour.
The ground looks tired I don’t see them being him too much longer 5 years maximum, can’t get a sponsor as we are not there starve them out I say if we can afford it of course let’s not forget the state of the pitch,I don’t think we would of been promoted playing on that pitch

Had a meeting with a guy from the Sports Grounds Safety Committee before lockdown about a few things. He said the cheapest seat you can get away with is around 30 quid and it can go up to between 60 & 70 depending on the type of unit installed. That’s just parts too. It doesn’t include paying someone to fit it. Can’t see Wasps shelling out that much. Especially in a pandemic.

They could buy a couple hundred of these for maybe £50 each at the Harvey's Furniture closing down sale, that should be enough to seat all the PAYING customers when full crowds are allowed to resume.
All those receiving free tickets will be told to bring their own deck chair.
