Re—watched Marvellous again. Great film with a football slant. Based on a true story which at times seems hard to believe! Great film, Even my football hating wife really enjoyed it.

Just watched 'A Quiet Place' again. First time I have seen it since it first came out.

What a great movie that is.

Second one is supposed to be excellent too, if they ever get to release it.

"The Platform" on Netflix is a bit strange, but a passable 90 minutes.

Gonna get stuck into some of the Studio Ghibli stuff on Netflix now I'm locked down.

Watched the gentleman.
Decent. A Guy Ritchie London gangster film with Matthew MacConaughey can't real fail can it?
All the leads are good, Hugh Grant having a great time hamming it up as a sleazy tabloid reporter (bet he enjoyed that).

Only disappointment was Jeremy Strong. Shame because he's great in succession.

Shimmer lake - enjoyable, has some funny moments.

The platform - bit odd but easy watching.

Jimmy Greaves film was good for footie peeps- onto Maradona one now - he was a bit of a naughty boy but his feet were very quick - clodhoppers took him down mercilessly but he never asked for protection except from the Cormorra

Having seen all the Maradona film I really felt sorry for him - he went from hero to zero in Italy just doing his job - yes he was on the Charlie but he was battered into that lifestyle - good film now onto the Steve McQueen Le Mans one

Anyone else think Le Man's is sexist?

I'm still thinking about this film a few months after seeing it. Adam Sandler has earned my complete respect for his great performance.

If you liked Uncut Gems try a film called Good Time. It's made by the same directors and is another tense brooding film. It's on Netflix.

Possibly my last interaction with FM. He recommended a film for me to watch and tonight in honour of him I will be watching it.

Cheers FM
