I see bothwick-jackson has been released. Jesus, a few years ago he was touted as the next big thing. Now he can't cut it in league 1. How quickly careers can change.

Would rather take a risk on Demetri Mitchell. He looked really good at one stage. Was the best player in their under 23's, went off to Hearts last season and picked up an injury, then had a setback in September. Been released, can play anywhere down the left hand side. Would be worth a punt.

Wouldn't mind Kevin Stewart from Hull. He's likely to be released and Hull will probably be relegated anyway.

26 so nice age. Experience at this level but still room to grow.

Also Wasserman by the way.

He's on £17k per week at the minute, Hull had the option to extend but he'd get an automatic increase to £20k if triggered.

Think he will probably want more than we would be looking to offer.

I hope we don’t get caught out going for ‘names’ like the last time we were in the championship. I’m sure we won’t and will no doubt sign a few names. But it’ll be about the squad this time.

Joe Cole anyone? Actually wasn’t he in league one? Point stands.

I think we just need to stick to our current policy. We can just probably attract better players we’ve never heard of.

No chance Robins will get caught out like the rest who fell before him

we brought him in to help the developement of the younger players having a former international and premier league winner in the dressing room probably helped them

Scott Fraser would be a very good acquisition as would Jackson Irvine. I think Cauley Woodrow is out of contract but I imagine he will have better offers.

50/50 on fox, isn’t he more of a CB now?

Yeah he's a centre half now. Played a fair bit last season and I think he was doing well. Played in their last two games but barely featured earlier in the season.

I'd much rather Morgan Fox than Danny but he's being linked with the likes of West Brom, Norwich & Bournemouth.

What about Steve Morgan, then?

If Flanagan's a no go, what about that big Shrewsbury centre half. Looked a bit of a beast (can't be arsed to look up his name). Would love Souttar from Stoke (on loan at Fleetwood) Would be embarrassing for Stoke if Fleetwood got promoted because of him, whilst Stoke got relegated.

If that happens he will be staying at Stoke
