Both Francois and Ferrari were pushing to 'make Big Ben bong for Brexit', both are sweaty overweight chaps over 50, and both enjoy going on the wind up. The question is where does our G fit into the ensemble

Ah ok, was Ferrari involved in that farce too? That was pretty embarrassing.

You seem to hate people of my generation. Are you this hard on your parents who funded your privileged education?

I don't have any hate for anyone G, just pointing out some awkward similarities. Admittedly Francois and Ferrari are much more famous gammons than yourself but still close enough.

Who do you think would be a better doppelganger?

With all these apologies do we think Boris might finally apologise for his pillar box quip and his poking fun at other minorities !????

No nor me

No nor me

He hasn’t apologised yet for making decisions that killed many thousands of people, so he’s very unlikely to apologise for something he doesn’t actually see anything wrong with

Anyone heard the piece Candace Owens has given on the Floyd situation?

Try not to listen to her, she's just on the grift and is milking the far right for all she can get.

Probably vile though as the only person he's been nice about is Hitler

Apparently multiple TV shows are being taken down because they may cause offence:

Little Britain
Come Fly With Me
Fawlty Towers (in particular the 'walk' and the episode where Major describes the West Indies cricket team)
Gavin and Stacey ('Chinese Alan' and Seth who was asked to be in a threesome with Pete and Dawn)

Really?

No, the Gavin and Stacey one is fake at least.

It always makes me chuckle when people use the relative success of their football club to make themselves feel racially superior to their peers. I could kind of understand it with England away days (INGERLUND, INGERLUND, INGERLAND) but what baffles me is when it's Coventry City, where we've had great non-white players both now and in the past.

The best thing though is that racists always make life hard for themselves. That thug in the video has made life hard for himself and his family. I don't condone his family suffering for his actions, but it takes a public apology on his behalf and the destroyal of their business for him to probably understand, and even then I'm not sure he will. Similarly, 'Football Lads Alliance' is everything to do with people beating other up and dragging each others' knuckles across the floor as it is about cooperating to 'protect our daughters' from Muslim rapists (notice they don't mention protection from all rapists, merely Muslim rapists).

With Fawlty Towers it's the dicey language the old fella uses. The BBC had already edited this out years ago with John Cleese's approval but the unedited version was still up elsewhere so it'll likely just be edited the same and then back up, I'd imagine anything questionable will also either be edited or have a brief disclaimer and then all the shows that angry people had no intention of watching will again be freely available to ignore

It's like This is England. Whenever broadcast they state it has strong language and scenes of racism which might upset viewers.

Like you say that may be the way around it so if people are going to get offended they can switch over

Its absolutely pathetic isnt it. This is nothing about George floyd anymore. It's been hijacked now by the far left/antifa types to force their opinions on everyone else. They're not interested in racial equality, they just wanna cause mayhem and stick 2 fingers up at the establishment. They hate this country and its past. Pulling down statues around the uk? All u see is wankers like the vile privileged owen jones and the likes of racist sadiq Khan demanding removal of certain things as they dont like them. Who the fuck are these arseholes to demand this? How many black people were there at the removal of that statue at Bristol? Hardly any. It was your privately educated leftie wankers mainly. Look at those 3 that rolled it down the street. They werent blm, more like the great unwashed. This is very dangerous territory imo. Thankfully churchill has been boarded up which in this day and and age is a fucking disgrace. If certain people keep up with this by peddling there shit then we'll end up having quite a bit of trouble on the streets as the general public will only put up with so much. What started out as a legitimate cause imo has now totally lost its direction which is a shame.

Is it true that Black people make up 13% of the population of America but commit 44% of murders? That's crazy. I guess they're all made to do it though. Didn't this bloke also have a record as long as a roll of wallpaper and hold a store or something up at gunpoint with the gun pushed in a pregnant woman's belly? If he did then then fuck him and fuck you twats who are kneeling for him.

first I’ve heard of her, but an interesting piece. Her whole premise is against turning a scumbag into a martyr.

It is alarming how many institutions have buckled in the face of this latest progressive onslaught, and it makes me wonder who's behind this huge agenda push.

George Floyd died on the 25th May, and less than 2 weeks later we have some woman in the centre of Cov reading a prepared speech rolling off a long list of examples of why Britain is a quasi-fascist country. Reminds me of the ANL back in the early 80s, which similarly appeared in a matter of weeks with prepared slogans, banners and even a group with anti-fascist songs. People should be wary of having their honourable intentions harnessed for the benefit of wider political agendas.

I thought Candace Owens puts her point across very well - ignore the left/right labels and just listen for the truth you will hear it from people across the political spectrum. She's certainly better than MLMcD.

There's a fair bit to be proud of in Britain's history, however there is also a fair bit to be deeply ashamed of. Removing the bad bits & keeping the good- not too sure what the problem is really.

I had always assumed the point in Fawlty Towers was to be mildly shocked at the language he used, take aim at the old colonialist duffer, and laugh at the bigot who's now completely irrelevant in the world.

Maybe I was just naive!
He was a caricature; a parody of himself. It was comedy, and everyone loved it.
As i posted on Twitter a little while ago, i though all this PC nonsense was left behind in the late 80s when the loony left Labour councils in places like Liverpool and Leicester (where i lived at the time) insisted on renaming the Christmas tree as "a midwinter arboreal feature", and they wouldn't put Christmas lights up on Belgrave Road (vibrant, mainly Hindu area), in case these acts offended the Hindu (and other BAME) community, only to be told that "well, actually, we're not remotely offended, and rather like joining in with the culture of the country we chose to come to".
The lights now get put up before Diwali and stay up until after Christmas. It wasn't hard.
Can't we focus on doing the stuff that really helps?
