Dickheads get chased by city fans who had otherwise been peaceful in the majority. How many of the fans even knew about the other guy's video?
Theres no point trying to start some black lives matter beef when they are saying all city fans are racist. No city fans seem to be defending that c**t for making the video at all, people turning up with a knife shouldn't be defended either.

Not enough evidence yet for me to say what really happened, though I see many people on here made up their minds even before this statement came out.

You probably won't be happy until there's a headline in the Telegraph saying "racist Coventry city fans chase black men for no reason" though to be fair.
There's literally people in the video screaming "he's got a blade" and "he's got a knife". Let's not make this a race thing, leave that to the prick who filmed himself who will be dealt with.
I haven't mentioned race once, but clearly it's on your mind. Now you mention it, maybe that's why you see a video of two black guys getting chased by a crowd of white kids throwing bottles and immediately assume they're "dickheads". Personally I prefer to wait for the evidence before I confirm or deny my prejudices, but if you're happy to base your opinions from what you overheard a couple of guys saying on Twitter, then I doubt much will change your mind. Sounds like you jump to conclusions pretty easily.

Guys settle down we just won the league. We have no facts one way or the other. Lets forget it and move on.
I'm repeating myself, but we don't yet know if they had a knife. The police have clearly been careful not to say that yet. Again, it may not stop people from assuming it anyway - some folk just like to assume stuff about certain kinds of people.
Maybe they'll be right in the end, but it's uncomfortable to think about those kinds of assumptions isn't it?

People saw the bloke with a knife going to a celebration where some young families were also present. THAT makes me uncomfortable.

Still, SBT has an issue with people questioning the telegraph and they want to paint a certain picture it seems.
You're saying the quiet part loud - the fact that you're just as comfortable coming to your two conclusions about the people involved shows that it's not hard evidence you're interested in. Can't say I'm surprised, but I didn't think you'd just come out and admit it!
Anyway, I'm sure you'll be celebrating if it turns out those two guys did fit the stereotype! Keep complaining to the CET in the meantime (sorry, I still don't work for them)

Without wanting to get dragged into this, it makes me equally uncomfortable to assume or believe a group of 30 Coventry fans would unprovokedly attack two unarmed defenceless Black men for no reason.
From my observations of the video the only one who gets any real credit is the guy who was trying to calm it down and de-escalte the situation as he has put himself between an angry mob and two men potentially/allegedly carrying weapons.

The fact you want to try and make out that it is concluded just based on skin colour is where you seem to be struggling.
I have never said you work for the Telegraph either, just that we got promoted yesterday and you didn't seem to comment on that but straight in on this thread. Bit strange really, nice way to try and discredit though when somebody points out things about the Telegraph.
Agree with you entirely! Truth be told there isn't much difference on this thread between me and the people calling me a prick and floating conspiracy theories about me being a CET plant (maybe I should complain to the mods). I just think it's wise to be skeptical and wait for the evidence before I jump to conclusions that buy into seriously dodgy stereotypes. So I'm assuming nothing.

The guys facebook page is full of racist posts. CCFC need to identify and be clear they are to impose a lifetime ban.
You suggested I work for the CET as recently as last month fwiw (I went back and checked, because clearly you have!) I've no idea why you're so fascinated with me, considering I don't post much, and I've never wanted my own reply guy. In the interests of drawing a line under this, I've posted all of 40 times in three years, and most of those are about CCFC. The times I get sidetracked into CET arguments are because you reply religiously to every single one of my posts looking for a debate! Seems funny that you would obsessively reply to me and then complain when I respond (I honestly didn't know you cared!) But in all seriousness, if it bores you, you can just.....not reply. We all know that unfortunately there’s some racist idiots among our ‘fans’. The first chap seems to fit the bill perfectly and it will surprise nobody that he associates with Tommy Robinson. Seems he’s been identified and reported to the club, police and his employer so not much more you can expect there.
As for the other video people who were there said the chap being chased had a knife and the police statement says a knife was recovered, you can draw your own conclusions. Personally I’m struggling to believe at a celebration a mob of our fans randomly decided to attack people based on race with nobody doing anything to stop it. As I said we’ve got some idiots but that seems unlikely.
