Nothing more than that. McNulty was great here and we should be thankful we had him but no way I’d look at bringing him back in the championship. If I’m hypercritical I don’t think he has the fitness levels to start with.
He was great for that 6 months wasn’t he? Always grateful

Would he score more goals than Godden in the championship? Who is the after player assuming both are 100% fit?

Predictive text should read who is the better player assuming both are 100% fit

I’m not disagreeing with you. I think if McNulty had stayed with us, he would have scored goals in league one. He clearly has fitness/sharpness issues when he isn’t playing regularly.
I think ability wise and attribute wise they are similar although I agree Matty G seems more professional in his approach in terms of fitness. I'd also say Godden is better in the air.

I think mcnulty would score goals in league one similar to Godden think they both could hit 10 goals in championship but don't think they are good enough for the premiership

What a time for Willis and Burge to leave to better their careers and here we are on the brink of promotion to being one step away from the premier league once again. We could be playing in Europe in two years time boys

Admire your optimism but the teams who have gone on to the Premier League have thrown plenty of money at it and didn’t get there through luck. Even Sheffield United who did it the right way were spending £20m a year. We are more likely to fall into the category of Wigan, Rotherham, Barnsley, Burton and Luton which would still be progress

Europe ? How about we first get promoted to the Championship (until its signed, I'm not lighting any cigars), make ourselves a regular force there and move on after a season or so ? Push too hard too quick and we could fall short and become a yo-yo club between league 1 and the Champ. And for all concerned, that would be as demoralising as staying down in League 1 permanently.

If Bungling Burge was here we wouldn’t be looking at promotion

There were many os us shouting for years that to progress we needed a better keeper. I think this season vindicates that as Marosi has been a revelation. You can have a decent shot stopper that can do the rest too. I just don't know why Donny didn't go all out for him.

You’re absolutely right it’s a huge part of why we’ll go up. You were right I was wrong. Even though he caused a few goals he saved so much more
Alas-he has seen the light! :D
Not sure why people couldn’t see it as they were undoubtedly watching the same games when Burge was in goal. We were never going to progress while he was in goal, surprised really that he lasted so long but I guess it was a sign of the times that we had to make do as there was nobody else.

It's obvious isn't it .
Oggy!!
I do have a suspicion Oggy took retirement over being moved on as Robins wanted to move to a keeper that plays it on the deck and that isn’t Oggy’s speciality. He’s been overly critical of Marosi on CWR at times I feel too.

Yeah he seems a bit better, meanwhile he described burge as a technically brilliant keeper when we played Sunderland.

I didn't even know Stevenson was playing, has he touched the ball yet?
