Yes I can thankyou.

There are some on this thread that go p;atronising and pompous for the sake of it, I'm sure they're going to fill their boots.
Sorry wasn't pointed at you. Just ended off using your words to aim at others making up their own stories.

You have to be with people from your own household Alan.
Though I'm sure if you're right, as long as you maintain social distancing you could meet as you say. Though she's nearly 30 so.probably not really interested in a game of catch!
You could meet up at the local garden centre near the geraniums. Go in separate cars . Take your birth certificates just in case.

Boris said you can play sport with your family. But family don't always live together. My two eldest daughters have their own families in their own homes but according to him I can have contact with them .
Stay at home is therefore completely dead in England but no one understands quite who they can see and who they can't.
You clearly do. Bully.
So you don't understand the meaning of household?

OK.

I'm not trying to point score, I am just trying to point out what has been said verbatim both from the PM and the BBC article you posted.
And you have missed all the times that 'household' has been mentioned?

Going? This shutdown is having strange effects on people it seems.

Right. The article you have quoted is from yesterday. It even says on it:

At present, people should only leave home if they have a "reasonable excuse"

That was yesterday mate, and right now it’s today and has changed based on what’s been said today.
Hopefully we get more information tomorrow.

But you piled in giving it point scoring with an outdated article and are trying to accuse me of being mental. Have another go.

Boris did say household to be fair, not family.

Look stop having a go at him, not sure why it is but people always seem to think he's in the wrong

No? You must be getting mixed up with someone else.

From what Boris said and the article you posted, what is stopping me and other people in my household driving to a park 200 miles away to exercise?

So what has changed today?

I must have missed it. Because nothing has changed yet.

It is only confusing if you listen to people who don't have a clue or that make their own story up.

Or arseholes looking for an excuse.
I have no intention of travelling to skeggy.

But there were people ignoring the don't make unneccessay journeys guidelines.
Imagine how they're going to interpret this given the ambiguity of it?

The police who keep pulling people over and fining them.

Before this evening's speech I agree. But things have changed in the last couple of hours.

Yesterday I could only exercise once a day. From Wednesday I can drive somewhere and exercise as many times as I want.

Short distance travel only for exercise can be made to be go 200 miles?

We have had a lot of it in Cumbria. Idiots all over the place. The police stopped someone and gave them a fine. They then tried to continue with their journey to buy a puppy. They got another fine and escorted back up north.

But can you suddenly travel further?

Yes as previously I wasn't able to drive for exercise. Now I can and nothing has been said of a limit of how far I can travel on the road.
You was able to travel a short distance for exercise.
