I was due a haircut before the lockdown but foolishly delayed. I usually wear it short but not a crew cut. My hair is thick and grows quickly and is now starting to look more like I wore it as an edgy youngster. This is an issue that must be affecting men up and down the country. Anyone else suffering?

My hairline was gradually receding from when I was about 22/23 after I got married and became a dad it started to recede quicker. So I shaved it off I go over it every 2 days with a razor

My wife hates me with short hair. She says I must always have enough for her to run her fingers through. Says I look like a convict or worse with short hair.

I have the same problem. Full head of thick hair. Won't be seeing the wife for months. So gave myself a No.1 all over. She doesn't know yet.

I did wonder if many of us were now sporting footballers' hairstyles. I'll kick a ball around today as an experiment to see if it's improved my skills. Could there be some kind of Samson effect?

Yep, normally have a faded 1 at the sides and back, trimmed & thinned out at the top so I can quiff up and over to the right.

Was due to go to the barbers on Tuesday 24th March, day one of the lockdown! So my hair is long and thick which is making me use more wax!

Ordered some clippers on Amazon, a 4 all over buzz cut I think for me

can’t decide whether to buy some clippers and get the wife to cut it (although my ten year old is itching to do it) or just say fuck it and let it grow. Never had long hair so maybe a time of crisis is a good excuse to have a midlife crisis and just let it grow until it’s long enough to put it a ponytail. Problem is I am starting to recede a bit in the corners so it may end up looking ridiculous. Maybe I should go full midlife crisis and get a bandana to hide the receding?

I'm sorry Tony, I was liking every post on this thread but there's no way I'm liking a post suggesting that a ponytail is a reasonable idea.

Getting the wife to try cutting mine and if she botches it we'll just shave it off, so I've had the clippers on charge overnight.

Been there - clippers now sitting redundant. She could cope when I went through a phase of No. 1 all over but since I now like the top a little longer she won't even try.

I’m greying but a full head of thick hair,My Mrs says why don’t you try just for men while your off work.
Imagine going back looking like Elvis.
Told her no!!
Don't do it. When I was with my missus she hated seeing my grey hair coming through, but never bothered me. On and on she went and even bought the Just For Men stuff. For some peace I relented and said okay I'll try it . She loved the jet black hair look but I hated it. Anyway i went in my local and got ripped to bits by my drinking pals ! So the next day I washed it all out and said to her I'm not doing that again. Not saying that was part of us splitting up but she just hated grey hair.
Women dye their hair and think us blokes should do the same !

I have the opposite problem. People think I dye my hair. At last I have a few grey hairs. But some bright spark thinks I missed some on purpose.
