Lads. Fuck sake. How many times does this need to be said? I agree with @hill83, you lot can be fucking pathetic.

Whatever your thoughts, whatever boris did or didn't say, whatever your political viewpoint, this is a man who has tried to lead our country through the biggest test since ww2, at what is shown to be detriment of his own health, a father, brother, husband whatever.

His unborn child could potentially never see their father.

Some of you have children, i do, and I'm sure you'll agree with me that what will be going through Boris mind as it would all of us, is your kids. Doesn't matter that he is PM he will be just as fucking shit scared right now as me or you would be.

So stop the arguing, try and put yourself in his shoes, in fact anyone who's been through this horrendous viruses shoes, pause for a moment and think.

Way more important things going on in the world at the minute. This forums turning into loose women. Have a word with yourselves some of you
Well said that man!

See this thread is going well again. Grendel dropping the c-bomb on anyone who suggests Johnson might not always tell the truth while insisting Johnson never shook the hands of Coronavirus patients when everyone can see the video where he clearly says he has.
I have a feeling Grendel will be taking it on the chin for a while

It would depend on whether people mis interpret the spoken word in the same way they misinterpret the written word.

For example, some of the stuff posted would make you think people were wishing Johnson harm, I haven't seen one posts that actually does.

Have you seen one post where someone has indicated they don't want Johnson to survive?
I can't recall seeing one.
Even virtue signalling nobs are less than truthful

How they getting away with a non key construction job?
Because building sites have not been closed down.
I was working on a snagging job in Soke on trent today on student accommodation.
We are having to go back to work after a week off as 60% of our customers are still working.
Might change as they are starting to run out of certain materials.

Same for us at work also, we’re running out of certain components and I think ultimately that’s what will shut the door. Hopefully not permanently.

Just watched the BBC video from an ICU.

That hit me harder more than I thought it would.

I’ve met loads LAST, BHSB, Otis, Clint, NW, OlderSB to name a few and all really nice lads.

...oh, I did meet Grendull too. Smaller than you’d think in real life.

I never met anyone ‘in real life’ from here or gmk that wasn’t a good bloke, with gmk though there was always a surprise when you found out that about 4 usernames were all actually the same person

His and Cummings awful 'heard immunity' policy.

I hope he recovers, the last thing this country needs is more turmoil. But he and his government dithereed and delayed and down played it.

Herd immunity is fake news. Was never going to be an option. Even Keir Stamer agreed with this on Andrew Marr on Sunday morning.
Get well soon Boris.

Depends on the site.
I dont usually work on site as we are manufactures but I am the only one allowed on site.
I was working outside on my own but it is virtually impossible for some to distance themselves, the toilets were a small portakabin with 3 loos and 3 urinals the walkway is about 2M wide with sinks in, you cannot get to the urinals without brushing past anyone washing their hands.
I was working on the 10th and 11th floor I used the stairs as the lift is only about 2M long and with 3 people in it you cannot again distance yourself.

sounds very bad for Boris
Trump " All americans are praying for him"
Starmer "Terribly sad news"

This for me sounds as though the odds are no longer in his favour

Johnson in intensive care is mental, hope it’s just precautionary. Still can’t help but feel it’d be a last resort if they could avoid it. Here’s hoping he recovers quickly if for no other reason than Raab is in charge until then.

Some utter cunts in here need to start apologising
I have never heard the Conservatives apologise for the state of british hospitals. For instance just 2 years ago my dad's final few hours were spent in a corridor, so I have a right to criticise Boris and conservatives laisse-faire attitude to this crisis and the NHS generally over last decade. No-one wants Boris to pass away but this situation is a leveller for us all. Most rational left leaning people want the extreme right wing finance driven toffs (eg. JRM) to show more compassion for the working classes. Maybe this is a wake-up call and we all need to realise we are in this together and for a successful country we need to work together better and support each other when we get through this.
