Prediction:
Government now starting to get serious questions about lack of promised testing, shortage of PPE not giving straight answers to simple questions etc etc. Boris and his trusted side kick Matt Hancock both having been out the way in isolation for a week will suddenly appear now fighting fit ready to lead and hey presto testing will rise PPE will start turning up and possibly new cases will reduce.
Praise be to our PM.
I wish but sadly they aren't in the position to do that.

Plus Boris as said all along he is still in charge and running things.

Plus he does live at office.

David, I've literally had one debate with you in the past. In it you suggested that if I thought Maddison was a similar level to Lookman I should probably fuck off and stop commenting on and watching football, nice comment from the nice guy socialist that you are.

It's a shame that having being proved wrong you didn't take your own advice.

You make a fair point- you're dealing here with one of the main two herd immunity fanatics.

the reason why Labour dont win elections, is because they give the Far Left too much air time
If they put their policies forward properly without the extremism, they would win elections
That's how Blair got in , however he then his failings over Iraq, that cost Labour for a few years

Next time around, they really need somebody who Traditional Tory voters can relate to in order to win them over . Corbyn was never going to do that

I would argue that Blair harnessed the media to his side, Major had no chance with The Sun etc pushing for Blair

What is unfair about funding tuition fees to the wider (non-university attending) population? Think about it in the context of what's going on now.

Fernando, I was just raising one issue with the manifesto that I questioned. I know a lot of people who haven’t been to uni and quite rightly some question why they should cover the cost for others to go (I’ve said before I’d personally provide grants/subsidise courses where we need graduates. Also the fees appear too high and all unis take the piss and charge the max amount). From memory it wasn’t just a promise to remove future tuition fees, it was clearing all past debts.

Why did Ed Miliband and Gordon Brown lose then?

And you keep insulting people David. Make sure you ramp up the insults just before the next election. I'm sure it'll work a treat next time...

maybe not but see my earlier reply
Boris is a clown - it would have easy to get a leader to beat him, but Labour picked Corbyn
They had already tried Michael foot - why make the same mistake again

I picked him in 2017 but I wanted him gone in 2019. Boris is a master charlatan-actually hard to beat and why he was picked over Hunt

Possible other reasons for Brown - tarnished by the Iraq war legacy, the messy situation with Blair (the agreement/that fact that he became PM shortly after people voted for Blair in election) and labour had been in power for 15 years.

Ah yes, insulting everyone who doesn't agree with your political view point. That should really win them over.

The classic Tory response of ‘I’d love to care about people not dying but a left wing person said a mean thing to me so now my entire moral and political viewpoint has shifted completely to the right’ boo fucking hoo

Boris appealed to some of the Labour vote, who couldnt vote for corbyn
he played the clown, and some of the Labour support liked it

to win an election, you have to win some of the opposition support - Corbyn could never to that, Boris could

So let’s drop it with the hard left BS then and admit it’s just about who’s mates with the press barons

Blair won because he presented economic competence with Brown alongside him

The press conspiracy looks a bit silly when you consider only 3 years ago Corbyn defied all odds and achieved 40% of the vote
