He’s right. The threads mentioned are massively embarrassing and as soon as ‘we’ got together as a single unit to make statements and get involved with the politics of the clubs situation I knew it would be free rein for things like that to be brought up.

I don’t see them as massively embarrassing on a football forum TBH. They’re pretty harmless compared to some and actual misogyny and racism get pulled up here pretty quick by many users me and you included.
You have a point about the forum as it’s own entity in terms of fan representation though. This is why I thought names would be better.
Also, we have spent ages taking the piss out of Simon for quite some time, we can hardly whine when he throws a dig back.

Im not sure Gilbert is diverting much resource away from the pandemic effort by posting on Twitter. He’s not a fan of the forum on his personal account, he’s hardly putting out hit pieces on the BBC.
We all just need to chill out and recognise if you put yourself out there people will take shots and in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t really matter.
I would say get a personal account for Twitter though Nick mate, and leave that one for the thread posts and the like.

This has only popped up today because whoever is using the account wants to discredit the recent work by tweeting a stupid twitter argument one of their mates and nick has had.
