It is actually something that is included as part of the salary throughout the year with extra vouchers at Christmas. Workers get 13 or 14 monthly salaries plus vouchers to buy food. The vouchers can be used in certain supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. At my work we have the option of a 3 course lunch every day so we do not get them.

How beautifully Italian.

I think the biggest problem for the Tories will be the economic situation that follows from this, as that's supposedly their strong point. Could lose some of their traditional voters as well as their recently acquired Labour voters. But as I say they've got pretty much a full term to ride this out.

Part of me things they'll use this as an excuse to get Brexit extended indefinitely so it remains an issue next time around and they can go through the same playbook.
Boris’s manifesto not yet 6 months old is smashed to bits and when the inquest of his apology of a performance on the virus issue is held the Tory grandees will get rid

Doubt it. So much of their new vote is personal and social media bubbles seem to make culty politicians immune to criticism.

I think Doris would have screwed things up big style, but he’s now got the best excuse in the world when the economy tanks. I think he’s bomb proof now - 10 more years....

There will be a political fall-out once this virus issue is over. Who’s going to have the guts to reduce the frontline NHS to anywhere near the numbers of just a month ago, then there’s social care, then there’s the shortage of police, then there’s the poorly paid “key” worker drivers, cleaners, council workers etc, etc., these will organise believe me.

They won't. Next election in Dec 2024 and the golden oldies will turn up for the Tories

What are you talking about? The NHS frontline is the same size substantively, it is relying on thousands of volunteers at the minute. The Tories will get back in to austerity as soon as they can do, and the idiot media class and stupid electorate will stand by applauding.

It’s good to see your political analysis is up there with your football knowledge

Are you for real? Your absolutely hilarious!
I didn’t think it was possible for Boris to be more popular, but this virus will take him to a new level, He will be the fucking messiah when all this is over!

Ultimately they’ll lose it elsewhere as people aren’t shitting any more than they were. Food consumption at home is up something like 60% during lockdown though (more if my eating habits are representative).

Lots of winners though, Zoom stock is through the roof. As an online business we’ve had record interest recently with everyone stuck on the computer at home.

Unfortunately I think so too, he'll spin it into a triumph.

But we are now doing 100% of our shits at home so it's a good time for Mr Andrex but a bad time for companies that supply that generic office sandpaper arse wipe.

I respectfully disagree. People are shitting themselves more than ever right now.
