Moldovan. Missed a sitter at Sheffield Utd everyone hated him. Nilsson let the ball roll under his foot for their equaliser, fuck all said everyone still loved him.

Hated strachan after relegation and was protesting at the Grimsby game, but giving the job to Nilsson was suicide.

Dabo was a load of shit and we should have got Grimmer back according to some at the start of the season.

We’re way too quick to judge as a fan base. Every player should be given 10 games minimum to prove themselves.

Every fan base is like that because most of us know bugger all about professional football having never played it!

Followed by the even bigger suicide of appointing Jim Smith as 'advisor.' Who then recruited a whole coach load of his former players who destroyed the team. Just a shambles and would be comical if it hadn't actually happened.

Steven Pressley - although on average, if memory serves me correctly, he gave away 14 penalties in every game he played for us.
He gave away 14 penalties in every game! I know we get some bad refs sometimes who don't seem to have liked us much, but 14 penalties given against us in every single game... we must had a great keeper then!

As fans we sometimes go the other way. Hyping players up after a couple of appearances. Most dangerously if they are on loan and available for a few quid.

Who can forget as an example, an ecstatic West Terrace loudly singing "SIGN HIM UP, SIGN HIM UP" for about 90 minutes after Lee Mills put in a couple of half decent performances?

Two seasons and a total of 5 goals later he was very quietly released to avoid further embarrassing the number 9 shirt.

Capel & collindridge - I was there and Terry_dactyl is not far wrong. No one in the history of the world has conceded so many penalties in so few games. It had to be seen to be believed. We're not talking 50:50 or debatable pens either; Steve found unique and different ways of giving away stone cold pens whenever the oppo ventured into the penalty box. Not even sure anyone was actually that angry - there was simply astonishment as this happened week after week. I think we all realised that we were witnessing historic and world record breaking events.

Kevin Kyle

He was awful, but most had made their minds up before he'd kicked a ball

And hospital passes at a time when they were taking no patients? No, not the pandemic. Just poor defending.

Were there any habitual culprits who should be featuring on this particular thread?

Leon Best. Ask any city fan, utter shite and useless to the team, right up until he fractured his cheekbone and wore that mask. Next thing you know, goals in three consecutive games, fans wearing replica masks in a ‘hero worship’ fashion and a player of the month award

Ryan haynes, has momemts of brilliances, not great defending - always thought he would do better as winger! Will never forget that skill he did I think at home to Lincoln or Luton in 17/18

Keith Houchen - 1st game 0f season @ West Ham 86/7 looked like a Div 3 player, never did anything in league thereafter but from Jan 87 became a Sky Blue legend

Nuddy - £25k from Highlanders (who?) - signed I think by Butcher , round about the same time, iirc, Paul Furlong.

Greg Downes - brought in as Stuart Pearce’s replacement and initially given a hard time by the supporters
