Brian Moore? He's at least a solicitor.

Tim Martin is - when I saw him he looked like he’s got an IQ of 1 - perhaps he spends his life in the pub

NHS having to source gear from medical fetish enthusiasts.

Never forget, never forgive
Even worse are those who rely on and exploit the existence of problems in the NHS (i.e. government funding). I keep seeing bullshit private companies who purport to offer 'consultancy solutions for the NHS'. I mean, they can get a bloody life - they think they deserve credit for profiteering from the underfunding of our health service.

Experts on tv seem to think London cases and deaths will soar for the next couple of weeks and some areas such as north Birmingham Wolverhampton will do similar, they do seem concerned on the Birmingham/Wolverhampton areas.
Just stay indoors for atleast 2 weeks minimum, watch tv, just go out for food.

Does make you wonder if that bit of greenbelt between us and Brum might be a massive help in reducing our numbers compared to Brum/BC. Might even help protect it a bit more from future development,

Being semi positive if Trump opens up the USA other countries will not want to be left behind in getting back to some normality.
I am hearing here in KSA is that the death toll is not
important as much as who is dying and they have now identified that so it will soon be time to open the doors for business.
One other thought that is prevalent is that 5000 have died what is another 5000 in the big picture? People will be used to the total and become immune not to the virus but the news.

Depends on if your happy to be one of the 5,000 really. If Trump opens up the US it will be utter carnage there in terms of deaths, especially without state-run healthcare. Only an idiot would be even considering it at this point, hence why Trump is considering it.

Did you see him handing out the pens? I honestly can't see any way Trump as president isn't some huge, elaborate joke or he is on such a different intellectual level to the rest of humanity that he just seems like a complete idiot to everyone else because we have the capacity to understand his genius.

How come we are doing better than Spain and Italy even though we had our first cases at the same time?

singapore did a fabulous job

We're a bit more reserved than them. Very touchy-feely, greet with kiss on cheeks etc. Here it's a quick nod of recognition and if you're really friendly a handshake.

Can't see how he can blame China really from here on .
His response early was no different to local officials hiding it over there and now he just wants to compound it .
Economy over everything .

Rising yet again then was hoping lower than yesterday as not as many in critical care last night
Some won't even be making it to critical care, only those they think they can save. The rest will be receiving palliative care.

If you're relying on the worldometer website for critical figures, don't. If they don't have the figures to hand they leave the pmost recent ones up until they get an updated figure. We've been on 163 critical for 3 days or so now, and before that we were sat on 20 for a week or longer.

163 is an improvement on the 20 it was on for over a week. I’d disregard that column but not over analyse it although It bugs me just as much...but generally ok given that the columns on the left are a running total so it will never be easy to track.

ps who informs them? Is it the govt figures coming through on media or the other way round? I think it is the former. I’d decided that the govt. is not supplying the info and that it is far worse. The deaths tend to confirm this.
