I had the same mid February
Doctors couldn’t work out what it was
Had the X-ray etc but no diagnosis. Especially when I told them I was not a smoker
Really deep persistent cough but a really strange depth to it
Off work for around 10 days

Ive had that recently. Still got the cough.

excruciating. Will be mainly done by people fishing for Facebook likes having spent all day flouting lock down rules. If people really want to show there appreciation to NHS then just stick by the rules
Quite!

The people cheering in the flat upstairs came round for a party earlier, they don't live there and are not even related.

We did it with the kids and my mum is a nurse at university hospital albeit we find calling her easier! It was a great gesture but agree it then turned into a ‘look what I’m doing, aren’t I great’ shitshow on Facebook

It looked impressive- sure, there would have been some "look at me" types, but I thought it was brilliant and it actually made me a bit homesick :)

I think with anything you'll get the people who just want to be looked at but on the whole I thought it was lovely, really surprised at how widespread it was as I had it as some hashtag nonsense that nobody would bother with.

I woke up today with a persistent dry cough and headache from hell. I went to the toilet earlier and felt weak as piss.

It's definitely a bed day.
Too bad, FM. Hope you recover quickly.
Funny thing is they said a banging headache was less associated with Covid-19 and more likely to be flu or a cold - which are obviously still around, let's not forget. Is that another bit of advice to ignore? They are still very much saying if you haven't got a temperature, difficulty breathing or a new persistent cough, you don't have Covid.

I have everything but the difficulty breathing. Can't people have it with next to no symptoms?

listening to 5live today some medical person they had on said there's no hard and fast rules regarding the symptoms you can get a wide range of them or very few and it can vary.
Basically it trys to attack each individual in a different way according to the persons biological make up. Good luck FM.

Seems to be if you've got the cough, fever and breathing issues it's almost definitely it, a few of those symptoms it's probably it, if you're ill at all it could be it, and even if you're fine you're possibly carrying it.

Basically 'fuck knows' until widespread testing is possible

See I self isolated a fortnight ago because I had a cough, then convinced I didn’t have it because I felt a little fluey for a day but no real fever, still have the cough (like a smokers cough) and shortness of breath now not sure if I had it or not? Whole family came down with whatever I had, ex got it worst and kids the least.

Mild COVID with no fevers or just another bug going round that attacks the respiratory system? If the latter I’m now doubly worried about getting COVID while I’m already struggling to breathe properly.

So frustrating.

Yeah, it will be good if they can start doing anti-body testing.

I created this thread January 26th. I was one of the ones thinking it was scaremongering.
Just have a look at the comments first few pages. Mental how horrible this has become.
Yep, and I was one of the early replies concurring your thoughts.

Very scary indeed how this has manifested.

I hope what I have is COVID because I'm pretty sure it's not going to kill me but I don't think I'll ever know.

Everyone with symptoms should have access to testing. It's a joke.
