That Cardiff team of Whittingham, Boothroyd, Chopra, McCormack, Ledley etc were right bastards to play against, really good team. Whittingham was a good player.

Quality player and one that was constantly on my wish list during the transfer window (not that we ever had the money to sign him).

He often used to play 4-a-side at Connexions in Ryton. He was a couple of years older than me but we played against his team once or twice and I always followed his career after that. Think he went to Bablake? (Could be wrong) so shocked RIP
