You've totaly missed the point here.
It's not the delay in the kick off that pissed Sunderland off, it's the fact that the other final scores were displayed on the scoreboard while our game was still in play, which allowed us and Bristol City to play out the last 15 minutes or so in a non competitive way.
If either of the teams had scored in the final 15 minutes, then Sunderland would have survived.

It wasn’t that long ago we were like them. Going down to league two and starting to see success has changed the way the fans back the players and you can see the difference it makes. Sky blue is no longer heavy to wear. Sunderland kits look like they put the weight of the world on the players shoulders.

would be no surprise if an ex player said that. I think Willis is a player who lets stuff like that get to him. He looked really uncomfortable getting shit from the city fans the other Sunday, (which is why despite perhaps being morally wrong it was definitely the right thing to do), so I can't imagine getting stick from his own support would do anything but discourage him.

Its always the same with these idiots- "we were sucked into their game", "we didn't play how we can", "its a horrible league". "we are better than them but we made mistakes", "we are throwing it away" etc

Constant excuses and constant attempts to avoid the brass tacks here...

They are not f**king good enough
