Hope that last fight got you your moneys worth Taylor v Prograis was possibly one of the best fights I’ve ever seen

What a fight ! Both warriors. Taylor looked in real trouble after 5 rounds, just couldn’t pin Prograis down, then bullied him for the next 4-5, then Prograis showed real heart in the last couple when he’d looked done before (saying that Taylor’s right eye, that I think was initially damaged by a clash of heads, was in a right state and not sure he could see any lefts coming in the last two rounds). Proper 50/50 and both should get massive credit.

Had Taylor just nicking it but couldn’t have argued with a draw. 117-112 was a disgraceful score !

Canelo beats kovalev. Kovalev looked weary., just trying to jab his way to a pts win. (really low% actually landed).
All the talk about fighter safety should kovalev be fighting less than 10 weeks after a big fight. Also the decision to make the fighters wait an hour so they could screen some UFC is just ridiculous.

Dubois vs. Joyce in April.
Good to see undefeated British heavyweights forcing the fights to move up the rankings.
Should be a good one.

Decent performance from Brook on Satuday, looks in great shape and seems hungry, think he has a good 12-18 month push in him to finish his career. 1 more then maybe Charlo for the Super-welter title before the years out. See him having a money spinner early-mid 2020 to send him off into the sun with a nice paycheck, would love him and Khan (4 years too late) but more likely Pacquaio

Thoughts on the Dave Allen "fix"? Betting irregularities look pretty damning, would be amazed if they thought they'd be able to get away with that. He's been very open speaking about his problems with gambling in the past.

I like Brook. Thought he took too much criticism over the GG fight. Stepping up to middleweight to fight a great fighter was brave (but a bit daft). But he gave a decent account of himself just the weight/power jump was too much.

Yep totally agree, in an era of Hearn promoting the Bellew's and Froch's he always seemed to be the most humble from that batch. Think half of his fight is motivation, must have been hard to comeback from two eye socket injuries in the two fights that would have made him a world renowned fighter. To be fair I always have a soft spot from anyone who fights out of the Ingle gym.

Looked strange.
Looked like he kept him up for the 1st 2 rounds. Then Darch just didn't fancy it after he took a decent shot. Weren't necessarily killer shots.
Darch just a journeyman now padding opponents records.
Tbf Allen didn't look in particularly good shape either.
A fight like that shouldn't take much money so any irregularities going to stick out like a sore thumb.

Id imagine there will have been a splurge of bets on r3 from accounts registered in the Doncaster area, if anything proven Id expect that will be the last straw for Hearn with Allen (not that his boxing has deserved the amounts of chances he's been given).

agree mate, he looked good. Showed his power at 154 by finishing it with what was pretty much a jab.

brooks an enigma though and so frustrating (saying that as a fan). If he keeps himself dedicated there’s no reason why he shouldn’t do well in future big fights but he’s got to stop pissing about and get them arranged now

also a bit concerned about his size at 154 against the top guys. There’s some big units at that level so although he was huge at 147 (out grew that weight 2+ years ago) at 154 those advantages will disappear

sounds like smith v brook will happen next. Will be decent if so. If he wins that then go for a belt at 154 at end of the year

I remember watching it and wondering why he was literally just tapping him in the first couple of rounds.

Great performance by Fury, Wilder's ear was fucked.

Looking forward to seeing the Usyk fella, I saw him fight before he went up to heavyweight and he was decent.

Can see him hammering Chisora.

all in all 4 very decent heavyweight fights coming up. Joshua-Pulev, Fury-Wilder, Whyte-Povetkin, Chisora-Uysk

Yeah he dominated at cruiserweight and Chisora is a good test at heavy to see if he can cope with the extra weight and punching power. The fact he has had a few injuries since moving up is a worry, hopefully it's bad luck as opposed his body not coping with the move up
