Reading 50,000+ posts from Grendel?

Or 24 hours of Terry and June which really is the final thing I'd ever watch?

I'll take Terry and June thanks.

That I doubt as many have point out you are obsessed with Grendel

I blame Covkid1968# - it must be named after him
Reading SBT has become just like being married.... your peaceful Sunday mornings are ruined by the noise of point scoring and being blamed for stuff you know nothing about :happy:

I would think if worse came to the worse with less than a dozen games playing behind closed doors would be the first outcome.

Ok looking at Italy today and the rapid spread could this now mess up the season

Serie A games off in Italy

Any thoughts ? It may happen in fact more likely than not

I was thinking about this the other day and think there’s a strong possibility this season won’t be played in full...

Clubs wont go to the wall.

There will be insurance to cover things like this. It's called Force Majeure.

Unless specific insurance is taken out for Force Majeure, it tends not to be covered. Look at GSMA and the MWC, it’s not insurable and they’ve suggested companies are going to have to take the hit.

It's the mass association of people that increases the possibility of virus transmission.
It might come down to playing games in empty stadiums.
I don't see any need to cancel the season.

You have to think that would be the most likely scenario if large gatherings were banned. Ifollow would be a crap way of seeing your team get promoted (I’d still take it though!).

Italy have just ordered all sporting events including the six nations game against England to be played behind closed doors.

can see the fa doing this if the situation gets any worst but what a shit thing for us if we get crowned champs with no fans able to see or celebrate

And no revenue from the biggest attendances of the season .

If this happens then they should at least allow uk fans to have legitimate access to ifollow so they can still watch the game
I wondered if they could even do some short-term deal to broadcast all fixtures on sky, bt etc. Would be lots of fans wanting to watch and could be a way for clubs to mitigate the losses they will incur. No idea if that’s feasible given existing contracts etc.

It will all go swimmingly well the behind closed doors notion until the first footballer contracts the virus , then the whole team will have to isolate , the domino effect will stop this season I am afraid , players using same shower facility and changing room is transmission heaven ,

like I said it is going to happen whole squads isolated no games being played
