Or, crazy theory here. Actual people aren’t the two dimensional cardboard cutouts you’ve invented in your head to stay angry at the world.

I think Shmmeee is a very smart guy. I saw him taking some flack about indemnities & wasps yesterday but I don't know the background there and its nothing to do with me. He always backs up his points and if he disagrees then thats absolutely fine by me, he argues his points eloquently and its actually very welcome when someone smart has an opposing view thats well stated & backed up.

Thats to be compared starkly with two reprobates like Alan and Dom, who seem to spend all their time foaming at the mouth hurling obscenities around, and as yet have failed to ever back up anything they've ever said apart from talking about slashing boats and heaping praise on racists.

2 of my daughters friends joined Warwickshire Police in the past 4 months. Both entered with A levels.
There is a degree entry level where you enter the force as a detective.

From the Warwickshire Police recruitment page -

To apply for the Police Officer Recruitment Programme, you must have a Level 3 qualification (i.e. two A-Levels at grade A-E, or an equivalent to a Level 3 qualification if gained outside England or Wales)

He’s waiting for your mum to get off first.

And I’m only posting that as a demonstration of the level you’re at. It’s not my actual view, opinion, or standard I would expect from myself. Merely making the point.
Of course it's not your view.

It's pretty representative of some of the views expressed here. Still tame compared to Coventrian's views though

You've posted numerous generalisations about 'remoaner' so a bit late to bleat about it when the shoes on the other foot.

Perhaps you should get in touch with the BBC and complain to them

Evey leaver they have on seems to be a raging Gammon intent on the country bombing people.

Not disagreeing with your personal experience and I hope you’re right, but the article says 2020 so maybe coming in this year?

The link you gave is dead but this page on the College of Policing page suggests you do need to be degree level eventually even if you start without one: Entry routes for police constables | College of Policing

Or is Constable something different than normal officer? I know nothing about the police.

Frankie Boyle made a very fitting joke yesterday on his tour of Scotland about people of this woman’s ilk. I’m probably paraphrasing a little but it went something like this.

Imagine arriving in the U.K. as an immigrant to be told you’ve got to integrate by someone who spends two weeks on holiday pointing at a picture of egg and chips.
