As long as he can do the defensive side
I mean...he's not exactly got a lot to live up to in that regard has he. Westbrooke who for all of his good traits shits himself in every challenge and pulls out, and then O Hare who is the opposite and gets stuck in but is lightweight and just bounces off people.

It's only Shipley who is half competent defensively who plays in those positions.

I think at number 10 we could see the best of JJ

I think at present using him there in under 23’s it’s not only getting his fitness back but he’s learning that position bring him back last 10-12 games he will be like a new signing

Good news if true.

I've been quite impressed by how Jones has handled things this time round (not that he handled them badly last time). Despite the fact that this is likely his last chance to salvage his career after two serious injuries, he seems content in getting up to speed in the U23s and not pushing to be included in the 1st team too quickly.

I know he'll not want to do it for a 3rd time which would likely be the end of his career but seeing him bide his time to ensure he's not rushed, is great.

Really looking forward to see him in the run in. A great option to have if he can come back near to his best.

Have a look at the 6 minute clip on the Palace v Coventry U23 thread
He's looking pretty good
