Interesting stuff- I see that one of them was saying Robins should be manager of the year. Always interesting to see what other clubs think, they obviously have no emotional attachment like we do, is so it’s a decent gauge on how we’re doing without any bias.

Work is gonna be a blur today, I can’t say I’m confident but I can’t say I’m nervous either, I just cannot wait for kickoff.

Yeah I saw that comment about Robins too; I guess that depends on what happens over the next 3 months. Wish I could go tonight but can't do it (I live in Hastings) but will be glued to the wireless. I have to admit I am nervous but it makes me feel better to see that the opposition fans are nervous too. It is interesting to read what other fans think, they're a similar sized club to us and have the same ambitions and almost the same position as us.

A lot of their supporters can’t stand Jackett and want him gone even if they go up

He completely lost the plot when we went down to 9 men at their place. I think he brought on defender when they were 3-2 up against 9 men, and then substituted the poor fucker for a striker when we equalised.

Imagine if Robins did that..lol

Didn't we play them in the cup when Coleman was here and we were winning with 10 mins to go, and he ended up bringing on Jermaine Grandison on as a striker for some reason, and we ended up getting knocked out in extra time or pens?

I always find it ironic that someone who makes so much noise at football, is effectively a librarian.
I Ordered "For Who the Bell Tolls" still not received it yet!

I've been supporting City since 1964 and even I don't own a wireless any more

I think it’s a game impossible to call, both teams can win if on form. My concern is that they come with a physical approach and we get bullied off the ball, we tend not to deal with physical teams

Does anyone remember years ago the old lady who always rang a bell who followed man city
Yes, think her name was Ellen. In the early 90's went to Maine Road to watch us with a Man City supporting mate whose lad played in their youth team. Ellen was giving it plenty with the bell throughout the match right behind the goal. Afterwards we got into the Players Bar and I sat down with a pint catching the end of Final Score. The door opened and in walked this lady with a bell who stood right next to me glaring at me. Someone shouted over that I was sat in her seat so the safest thing was for me to give the seat up pronto.
She was straight in with a 'thanks love' whilst the bar staff brought her pint over. She was treated like royalty at Maine Road. Think she passed away a few years ago.

But we could lose and still get promoted. We could win and not go up. It is just another game and not a must win.
The only truly must win game is the one at the end of the season where you need 3 points to get promoted.
But if we win today, we might not need those 3 points at the end of the season.
