Exactly the same at the back of me.... loud bangs and sparks then all our power went off. Fair play to the electricity peeps... all fixed in 2 hoursJust walking out in the fields beyond Massey Ferguson’s, as was, and saw some power lines blown down a few hundred yards in front of me. I actually thought it was fireworks at first; it was very impressive, just like the movies.
Had I been a bit closer it could’ve been interesting - I’d have thought they’d have tripped out as soon as they hit the ground, but judging by the giant blue sparks they were firing off they were still live. I resisted the urge to put my tongue on them to check.
Also, lots of alarms suddenly going off in the nearby estate so there might be a few people eating their Sunday dinner by candlelight later.

Know it well. I take my dog for a walk along there. I go down to the library, down Como Rd then back along Victoria Rd.used to have a good mate lived on Victoria Road past the police station .

I’m currently working in a miserable 2 pub town called Pfreimd in Germany. Brilliant Sky Blue skies earlier and sunshine, so I’ve missed Armageddon back home !! P.S I’m not Martcov or that WUM Ring of Steel.
