No, we’re having an incredible season. I still can’t let go of the club we’ve been for so long though. If we did do a Cov after that it would kill me.
I refuse to believe we'll win promotion until we do! Only recently started hoping, buit belief is a step too far.

Still think we'll fade to ninth(!)

you couldn’t wait to give it the old “I knew it all along” bullshit, just like every other week when we don’t put 3 past everyone.

Yeah absolutely. I got a lot of shit for throwing my toys out of the pram on Tuesday and today's abject performance emphasised my points entirely.

We won and I'm over the moon about that, but it was ugly and pointing out that it wasn't really good enough is a perfectly reasonable statement to make.

You can get off your high horse.

Actually it was good enough.

You get given 3 points for scoring more goals than the other team, not depending on whether some moaning, perpetually negative bloke thinks it was “good enough”

To expect us to win comfortably every week playing free flowing football is ridiculous.
Results like today are the ones that get you somewhere

Play poorly, score a late winner, move on

We do need a better striker than the ones we have. However to still be up there without that luxury shows how good the squad is overall. I think the mentality of the squad wins us games which is a good thing. We don’t give up
Relwgation squad without o hare walsh abd hiwulla though some said

Cant agree we would be relegated without them personally. Not win league sure. But relegation?!

I think playing 120 minutes v Bham did not help us v Bolton at all. We looked a bit lethargic in places.

We gave Bolton far too many chances down that O’Grady channel, Rose and Dabo struggling to cope with him.

3 points is 3 points and onto Portsmouth on Tuesday!

Don’t disagree, but Birmingham were in same boat and they looked outstanding last night in their away win to high flying Bristol city

I think if we put 2 up today it would have stopped their full backs getting forward so much and would have kept their holding midfielder back too.

Just looking back on Bolton's recent games, I see Portsmouth managed a 1-0 win against them last month, Peterborough beat them 1-0 in December (Peterborough were at home). Sunderland (who were also at home), failed to beat them, as did Bristol Rovers

Yes, now the 3 points are in the bag it's all that matters. What's the point in having a forum though? A match thread? All I've done is point out we had an off day despite it, I've not called for the manager to be sacked or suggested we're getting relegated.

You're just chasing people around this thread criticising anyone who has some concerns about how the team played. It's quite ridiculous and you need to chill out.
